an Alt is the Alternative mode a TF can take (cars, trains, planes, dinsours, gorilla's on surfboards, etc), in this game it determines which attacks(tactics) that TF has and the cost of upgrading them, and gives them a ambiguous coloured blob in there profile.


it is not necassary to have an alt to play the game, though they generally make things a little more interesting.
