Psychout & Kaijubot_uk - If Thunderscream's plan to open it up to all levels works out how would you feel about opening UK fight club up to them? I suspect the 1-3 missions would still dominate due to our enthusiasm but the extra missions might add extra "flavour" and maybe balance? I know that Kaijubot_uk wanted to look at individual level missions posting but I think if we opened it up like that we could be looking at tracking far too many missions per day.

After that week or so we could start a combined thread starting with posts by me and Thunderscream giving rules scores and lists of members. We'd then use the thread for opening each chapter up for the day, posting missions, new members comfirming they are in, closing the chapter and scoring. Then the next chapter would take over on the same opening, mission post, new mbrs closing & scoring cycle.
The smack talk would need to be moved out and into to the HM-Dub Social Club thread.

Opening would be like: -
SUPERCOLLIDER= "UK Fight club opens in 5 mins"

Missions posts would need the levels like we've started doing. e.g: -
PSYCHOUT= "1-3: Http:view mission666"

New members would need to confirm like this: -
NOOB PLAYER= [QUOTE "PSYCHOUT 1-3: Http:view mission666"] I'm in that one

Closing would be: -
SUPERCOLLIDER= UK Fight Club has now closed for the day, MISSIONS LIST - list all missions with levels and links.

when all missions have finished edit the closing post with missions results and the days total which I'd then use to update the scores post on the first page.

I guess the USA chapter would run on a similar basis to the above but Thunderscream would hold final responsibility for running and scoring.

Thunderscream - I've been meaning to get online for more that 3 mins at a time so I can chat to you Re: Fight club but I'm having to do DIY in the PC room at home and frankly I've seen tidier bombsites. I should be online tomorrow between 19:00 - 20:00 EDT if you're about then to chat but as it'll be Easter Sunday I half suspect not.

If anyone wants to PM me about this thought / proposal please feel free.

No there'll just be two chances to fight each day - one geared for the UK and one geared for the USA. Both will keep seperate scores. We may think of some way to liven it up between chapters later but

I'm already envisioning several "The RNG gives us more missions than you" brag post in the near future!

Nemesis Wheelie wil be level 4 by then anyway, the top ones will be 4 in the next few weeks hopefully.

Until then we just gotta make sure the yanks follow the rules and have fun. How does it feel to have invented a mini-game thats gone global?

It took me ages to get round to watching it as I thought all it was about was men beating the crap out of each other. When I finally did watch it I was gobsmacked for the rest of the day and promptly began re-assessing my life.

It's an OMFG! film that I think that every right minded male over the age of 21 should be forced to watch. The sole reason it doesn't get in my fave lists is that it only "works" once or twice as the OMG!!! moment is no longer a surprise.

Do it, do it now....
