Being deported would hurt a lot of americans. A lot of them probably can't even spell their families origin countries, let alone know what they are.

er irish dont want our very distant american cousins back! they will think its like "The Quiet Man", and will constantly block up Trinity College with their cameras. australia, the proper place for all convicts is a must.

ps NFL Linebacker earns what 5 million a year? A dublin midfielder will be teaching your kids, or fixing your washing machine the following tuesday, thats a real manly sportsstar.

A Dublin midfielder is also more active on the field and doesn't need another body's weight worth of padding.

And I still stand by the point I made about GAA athletes. Why come it's fun right up til you get paid for, then it's all of a sudden 'work'?

I wouldn't be a tourist with a camera. I hate when people just stop in the middle of a sidewalk, or street, or mall, and start talking and gawking. It makes me wish I could turn my hand into a sword and stab them in the head.

Smart football players are a myth. American Football players anyway. Smashing heads together to celebrate kills braincells. ... Then again... They're smarter then European Football players... Since they don't have to work a side job and make enough money in a season to live comfortably for the rest of their life...

Actually, most of the big leagues in Europe pay out huge salaries to players too. I get the feeling that Ireland is probably alone in having unpaid teams. Means tickets are vastly cheaper and any money made goes into maintaining the game, not the players' lifestyles. You don't see Paul McGrane or the likes jetting round the world with a supermodel wife. No sir, you see him strolling the town banging an old teacher of mine.
