Been messing around with official-unofficial Jetfire, he's growing on me, but still feels like he could break at any minute.

Took a bunch of photos, but my cat made me stop. I'll take more in a couple days.

My Planet of Junk diorama is pretty much completed...
The underside pieces have been added, as well as the rest of the figures.
It's pretty packed since these aren't huge shelves, and I think it still works.

A slightly closer view... This took a lot of cutting, forming, painting, and gluing.

In a fight scene not everyone should be facing the same direction... Plus I always liked the look of the Junkions' motorcycle tank "backpacks", which were done really well with these SS86 figures.
Not to mention, I don't love Junkheap's face sculpt.
Blurr looks like he's in trouble having dropped his blaster; but he'll easily dodge any attacks and is almost enjoying this action.

I had to get "Daniel" in here... Just like in the movie, he's brave enough to give his buddy Springer a hand (or a metal beam) in this fight.

Reorganized the shelf behind my desk. Wanted to make a change. Deciding who to keep and what to put where took up most of the afternoon.

My movie transformers used to take up two shelves, one for Autobots and one for Decepticons. So I reduced it down to one shelf, put the others away and just kept a few of my on-screen favorites.

BEAST WARS! After getting the reissue Megatron I couldn't just jam him into a storage bin with the rest of them, so I made a shelf with a few of my other Beast Wars figures that I still owned!

Third shelf has my model kits, my Big Firebird figures, and Magic Square's Peach Girl.

More shots of official-unofficial Jetfire. Photos are coming slowly because there's some QC issues that make it a little difficult to mess around with. They very clearly didn't take paint into account when they were working on some of the tolerances and I definitely need to sand some things down just a bit, like the cartoon hand nubs, they really caked the paint onto those. And the landing gear doors can NOT be opened without something to pry them open. The blue cockpit lights are a nice effect, wasn't expecting a fully painted Rick Hunter to be sitting in there. I'm very glad you can turn the head around, wasn't sure that would be possible since it isn't Macross accurate.
