And here I was thinking Pred numbers would be way higher than the Maxi's numbers. lol

I've always been anti-switching unless it was for game balance, however, there is a way to balance all factions without relying on the number of players. That idea was lost in the shuffle though so whatever.

Just for the record. I'm a Unicronian and if that's an option Hai Guise. If I can't haz Unicronianz then I can haz Predacon so Hai Guise.

How is this switch going to be done? Is it something the player will have the ability to do on his/her own? I doubt that that will be the case but if you have to get Mkall, or whomever, to do it doesn't that limit the amount of people that would/could switch?

With most players not coming to the forums or even reading the message on the HMW main page how will others, outside of the forum, even know this is going on?

As for which sides that a person switches to, is there a way to maybe limit it to the beast factions at first to try and drive some players there? yes i see the irony of me bring this point up
Maybe give them an insentive to join a beast faction such as an xp bonus or energon bonus. Maybe some exclusive alts or something.

A nice big message on the hmw notice board should do the trick.


Link them to a thread where they can say what faction they want to move to. Maybe a small reward of xp and energon to encourage the switch, that's proportional to the players' character's level?

But yeah, I strongly recommend limiting it to the beast factions.
The cons really don't need any more, and the bots seem to be doing just dandy atm.

Also, anyone switching should probably try to hoard energon so as to help their future allies.

Requests would have to be made by posting in a thread in this forum.

Right now I'm thinking those that want to join the Beast factions can do so without explanation, those that want to join the bots have to provide some sort of explanation and those wanting to join the cons would need a damn good reason.
