Looks like it. What worries me is that aside from Blue Jet (Fitor) and Tough Trailer, we've seen no samples of future figures yet.

I wonder how well they're selling. I think a lot of people think these aren't official, and as a result, aren't going for them. I think another problem is most fans in the US don't recognize the Japanese names for figures they'd want.

Rock Lords Fanzine at TF Nation 2016
The most exciting highlight of the TF Nation 2016 convention was not the Rock Lord panel or Rock Lord display or Rock Lord movie showing (it wasn't even a Rock Lord convention!) but the free Rock Lords fanzine!
Made by myself and several amazing contributors, this was given out free at the Toy Fu stall in an attempt to attract people towards us. Toy Fu is a charity stall, where all profits go towards the charity Mary's Meals. Mary's Meals sets up school feeding projects in some of the world's poorest communities, where hunger and poverty prevent children from gaining an education. This year we raised £3,600!
The fanzine is now online for your pleasure, below. If you enjoyed the fanzine, please consider donating any amount to Mary's Meals to enable the charity to continue its good work in changing the lives of children.
https://www.marysmeals.org.uk/donate
There are also some physical copies available (black and white with a colour cover and centre page). If you want one, all it costs is postage and packing - £1.50 within the UK and £5.50 to America, plus making a donation (any amount) to Mary's Meals. Contact me if you want postage anywhere else! If you're interested, message me @rocklordsrock on Twitter. The package will also include a Boulder and Magmar badge!
Prints of the cover and inside were also available at the convention, though currently I can't work out how to post them cheaply. If you want a better copy of the images than in the PDF, then find the cover here and centre piece here.

For this new line? Nope. No "Rock People", as they were called, have been seen for this line.chuckdawg1999 wrote:Haven't we seen prototypes of some of the main Rock Lords for this Machine Robo line? I know some of them appeared in the show.

To be fair, if the cartoon versions of Megatron and Cy-Kill were to ever meet each other, Cy-Kill would be far smaller than Megatron anyway, as the majority of the GoBots were no taller than the tallest Minibots or (in cases like Tank) the shortest Autobot Cars.fenrir72 wrote:Also, I thought I could get Cykill to go fight with Tank Megs. Well, he is too small, even against G1 Megs. Good thing I have the vintage Super Gobot brick of Cykill to be Meg's beotch in the gladiatoral rings of Kolkular.

Aside from the Combiners, Zod was the only one who was really huge, but mostly comparable to Skyfire if he were hunched over in robot mode or transformed into jet mode without mass shifting.

Make him go against this Megs
Pro Truck Racer still has yet to come too.chuckdawg1999 wrote:Any word on the future of the line? I have Blackbird Robo coming Wednesday and hope to get the other figures at some point. BBTS doesn't have pre-orders or even listings up for the next wave of figures anymore. It's a shame we never got Turbo or Blue Jet (Liftor)

Dunno. I just remember that we saw his unpainted test shot alongside other ones in pics posted much further back in this thread.chuckdawg1999 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Pro Truck Racer still has yet to come too.chuckdawg1999 wrote:Any word on the future of the line? Was PTR part of wave 3 too?

Except, they're not GoBots and were never intended to be for GoBots audiences. These are Machine Robo toys. The ones you call "Leader-1" and "Cy-Kill" aren't those characters, they're Eagle Robo and Bike Robo, two average nobody characters who were of little significance in the Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos series. Nor are the Machine Robo characters all supposed to be the same size, that was a GoBots-only thing (and not always true for even that version since Scooter was shorter than everyone else while Tank towered over all the other GoBots, just to name a couple).Rated X wrote:These things had so much potential but failed because the screwed up on robot scale. I bought the first 4 and when cykill arrived later than the first 3. I was disgusted with how small cykill was compared to Leader-1. And the drill guy was even smaller. I said no more. Theyre freakin gobots, they are all supposed to be the same height in bot mode even if the alt mode scale suffers.
