I don't know about you guys and gals
but I loved that mini fight scene between the F-22 Raptors and Starscream (especially the part when starscream leaps off one of them and blasts the other one to scrap...Awesome!!!).

So since bay has already done ground based fighting
he should definitely do a aerial battle between like starscream and maybe megatron or an autobot of somekind.

What do you think?

Jetfire vs Starscream, baby!

Don't know what Jetfire's alt mode could be, but he's the only Autobot I can see for an aerial dogfight.

Or maybe you could make Superion some hyper-sonic jet, without being a combiner. Superion would work fine as one robot, he doesn't need to be a gestalt. But I think Jetfire is the more interesting character.

instead of Superion, just make Silverbolt

Superion sounds so... "super"

Silverbolt & Jetfire vs Starscream and Thundercracker = prawn crackers drool

Starscream + Thundercracker + Skywarp

vs

American F-22 Raptors + Chinese J-10 Shockers + Russian Su-35 Flankers

I think the aerial fight scenes between Starscream and the F-22 Raptors are real cool! And.. really DUMB and brainless!

When Starscream started pounding the first F-22, why do the others just stick around in the roller-coaster ride? So that Starscream can pick on them one by one?

Common sense dictates that they should immediately scramble and separate into different directions.

The more you analyze the movie, the more you realize Bay's IQ is... missing!

id love to see an arial battle it kicked a$$ watching Starscream destroy the other jets in the movie

Sure it logically didn't make sense for the F-22's to
spread out after the first attack, but it still looked awesome.
And even though Bay didn't realize that
you could make a million excuses as to
why they didn't spread out like,
"the pilots were still in shock after
seeing a big azz robot trash their friend"
or something like that.
But yeah you're right it wasn't realistic.

I still think a fight between Megatron and starscream
would roxor. Especially if some earth military are shooting at them in the process.

It's not an option for the Airforce pilots to be shocked or to panic. Especially not jet pilots. These are like Nave Seals of the sky.

They are trained to react very very fast to whatever trouble or situation. Their decisions and responses are like second nature to them. Done in split seconds.

...Pop this guy? A giant goddam transforming alien jet racing around ripping F-22's to shreds and you tell your mate to 'pop this guy'? Worse still, the guy tries it.

Yes I loved Starsream taking down the F-22's. But I guess they should have more Aerial but still more ground. They can't forget Bumblebee
