cybertron prime is damn impressive but what the heck, G1 prime

I'm going to go against my self-fan-wankery and say that G1 Prime is most likely *not* to win...

Flegh. Fire Convoy, Grand Convoy or Galaxy Convoy. Lasers come from every orifice in all three cases.

yeah g1 is old tech and when ever you touch a g1 bot he explodes lol jk but the g1 bots didt last log you shot them once and black smoke came outa there mouth and the decenegrated.

G1 prime was cool alright but very prone to being KILLED all the time. He was probably the best leader though. But that won't help him when he's alone. I'd say Cybertron Prime is probably the winner. But I must say I haven't seen the most of Armada, RiD or the japanese G1 sequels.

Cybertron Prime was a weakling no matter what he did (Super mode, claw mode, flight mode) the guy couldn't last two seconds in a fight without needing some sort of aide. Everytime I'd watch him fight Megs he'd get pwn'd.

Armada Prime was alright but E-Prime was better.

RID Prime was better than those other three IMO.

Seems like the first Prime was the only one not dependent on a super mode but b/c of that, everyone out guns him.

unless Powermaster OP is allowed as the representative of G1 Prime I see the other supermodes as a bit unfair. Then again the G2 Prime was effectively his powermaster form compressed /rebuilt into his core frame.

I'm not sure if this G2 prime was displayed as Laserwave Optimus Prime (aka Rid Scourge toy) but this form would be equal to, if not greater than, the formentioned Powermaster OP. In this case G2 OP would prove greater than any incarnation of G1 OP, nucleon, powermaster, or otherwise, with out the need of a supermode. So, if Supermodes are excluded, G2 OP for the win.

If supermodes are included I'ld lean toward Rid OP, especially if other TFs adding to them count. IMO OmegaPrime is practically a DBZ character the likes of a fanwanked Sunstorm. IMHO Cybertron OP really is a panzy no matter how much help he gets... Armada's OP may stand a chance with Jetfire and whoever was his sholdermounted BFGs, while E-OP is trully the only solo gestalt, but again I think without trailers and other knicknacks G2 OP wins.

If Supermodes mean trailers only, I'ld vote Armada Prime only because of the beating he endured without it in the comics at the hands of Megatron, who had atleast 6 minicons not counting the 3 mincon sword he was hitting him with, this was remanisent of G1 prime v.s. Megatron weilding the powers of all the Decepticons. Even if it ruined the Armada comics for me, it made Armada Prime in my eyes too durable without his supermode to ever lose while actually in it.

RiD Prime all the way.

I think God Jinrai takes a checkered flag on this.He took into Scorponok, and didnt have a dent.....

Just a note. G1, Rid, and Armada's may just be the only ones to take on a super powered version of there rival without using a supermode or other power up.

I restate my vote for Armada Prime for being combat functional after the fight.

Optimal wins, If he' counted. I consider him a Prime since he carried the spark of G1 and Primal. That dude was tough.

Armada Prime died, but it was a sacrifice. He came back after one episode.

i would have to say that idw's prime would smoke the lot of them....i mean he displayed an extreeme amount of firepower against thunderwing.
