I just heard a rumour, Is it true that some Arcees already have stress marks on her thumbs before you even play with them?

I was lucky enough to roll in during that tiny window between them stocking and everyone else buying all of them. I gotta say I'm disappointed. She did have a small stress mark on one of her hands right out of the package. What really sucks about it is nothing fits right. I had to trim the connector by her knee because it wouldn't fit in and she's covered in mold lines. Worst of all is her swords don't fit. Anywhere. They're significantly too big for her hands, and there's a nub on the blade that blocks them from fitting in the holsters. On the other end of the spectrum are her wings. They look dumb, and barely stay on. I'll just toss them in the box I keep missiles in and forget about them.

I got mine last night, and I'm pretty happy with her. The knee clip has some molding leftovers, but the hands seem fine. Sliding them in, instead of pushing them like a clip hasn't given me any stress marks yet.

And that was a definite 'YET'.

After leaving the sword in for about 24 hours, she now has stress marks. :-(

No swords for her.

Wowza... Animated Arcee might be my first ever MISB. The stress marks thing on hands hass droved me nuts before.. It's what happened to half of my MegaBloks figures back in the day.

I really hope she gets out of the States with a wider release. If that doesn't happens I'll just wait for the japanese version, the stress marks stuff should totally be in the wiki.

I trimmed the handles down before I even tried to put her sword in her hands. That's prevented any more stress marks.

So I got my Arcee -- right out of the package she had stress marks on the interiors of the thumbs, but they're not really visible from a normal viewing angle. And the swords would not fit comfortably in her hands, so I had to trim them down. They also won't fit in the backpack/rear of the vehicle, so I'm going to have to trim those nubs down, too. It really seems like they were meant to be made of a softer plastic... or that they came out of the molds a millimeter too large.

Her left thigh swivel is also really loose, to the point that more dynamic stances see her falling onto her face.

Yep, just checked mine too... I've had Arcee posed with her swords in her hands on my bookshelf. Her thumbs looked fine from the outside, but when I removed the swords to check... sure enough, scary-looking stress marks on the inside of her thumbs. Awesome. (i.e., sadness)

We heard you, sir!

I didn't even try to force the swords -- I just kind of tapped them against the hole to confirm that they weren't fitting before sanding them down. Not that it mattered tons, since my Arcee had the stress marks from the get.

At least I won't be making it worse...

Aaargh!! The ARE stress marks on the inside of her thumbs! Now, i know Arcee being small is cartoon accurate, but i wish Hasbro would've compensated the lack of plastic in volume with thicker wheels and folding wings. The wings are slightly different than the packaging (which looks better), they also attach differently in the packaging and instructions. The swords have to be forced a little in order to fit the storage slit. I took mine apart, since it did not seem like there was enough room, but it turns out that Hasbro molded the opening so that the nub would click into cavities so that the swords would not slide out. Thanks Hasbro! Can't wait for Rodimus.

Funny, Thunderblast reminds me most to Lady Gaga, maybe she is the mechanical equivalent of Lady Gaga from Earth, (later Mars).

Mine had a problem with the right calf not completely connecting with the back of the knee in robot mode. I used an exacto knife to open the calf cavity and now it's perfect. Here's a picture depicting that flashback scene where Ratchet puts Arcee inside his rear compartment:

The way the nub was originally, it would almost fit into the cavity, so i did not want to generalize it as an engineering oversight when it could be just the molding in my figure. Cyb Ratchet's right side nub, which holds his rear thread in alt mode, came a little too wide in mine, causing the thread to slowly slip out. Again, an exacto knife solved the problem by shaving just a little off the sides of the nub to decrease its diameter. Unless more people share these flaws, i can't consider these as engineering errors, just problems with mine.
