Agreed. I'm more interested in upgrading Hasbro's Omega than replacing it.

Joking aside, I'm happy with Genesis as my Classics Omega because of him being more Cybertronian and less G1.

I was always under the assumption that the "guardian" robot mold from G1 was Cybertronian ? So are you saying anything from the G1 cartoon is not Cybertronian ? What would that make alpha trion and elita one ?

I thought Omega's alt mode was just an earth base rocket with a tank on train tracks?
Alpha Trion and Elita one was definitely Cybertronian but I don't remember their alt modes if they ever had one in the cartoons.

Saying stuff like 1985 Cartoon Jetfire & 1985 Omega Supreme don't look like any earth alt modes I've ever seen,so they have got to be cybertrian alt modes, is just absurd. It's absurd because the AEC,TFA,TFP earth based alt modes looked nothing like realistic military or liscensed vehicles.
Saying stuff like 1985 Omega's Tank mode looks nothing like i've ever seen. Is also another absurd statemenet. Due there literally being thousands upon thousands of different real military tank designs out there. There are also so many real military experimental tank designs out there. With the numbers so high,No one has the time nor resources to view all these realistic & experimental military tanks.

It's funny how you declared that you blocked me, but youre talking about comments I made that nobody has quoted yet. If you think my idea of Omega and Skyfire having Cybertronian alt modes is absurd, consider this:
Yes that's his alt mode on Ancient Cybertron guarding Crystal City millions of years before the Autobots arrived on Earth.
Omega was a special Guardian Robot. He was one of these guys, but for whatever reason he had his own color scheme.
On Skyfire, all I can say is if you pull a Cybertronian jet out of the ice that has been frozen for millions of years, wouldn't that make it from ancient Cybertron ? Remember Skyfire was drawn different for the cartoon. He wasn't drawn as the Robotech figure in either jet or robot modes. Not that it matters. Were talking G1 cartoon here, not G1 toys. All Season 1 and 2 characters had an Earth alt modes, with the exception of Skyfire and Omega. It wasn't until after the 1986 movie that any additional Cybertronian alt modes appeared on Earth.(Springer,Blurr,Cyclonus,Scourge, etc) Please don't accuse me of using Photoshop on these images. They all come straight from TF Wiki.
I challenge you to find any jet that existed on Earth back in 1985 that looked like this:
Good luck !

Hasbro has the final say not fans. Hasbro did consider the 1985 Omega supreme & Jetfire alt modes as being modeled after earth based alt modes in the cartoon, comic & toy line.
Like others have said in this thread. You can't use cartoon episodes as a bible for anything. due to animation art errors. It's no secret,Hasbro was cheap they didn't want to pay extra for different art,They made errors on purpose to save money. This is why the constructicons got earth based vehicle modes on Cybertron millions of years ago. This is why Starscream had his F-15 jet mode in that flash back scene in that jetfire intro ep. This is why most of the MTMTE cast had there earth mode vehicle kibble on there robots modes 4+ milliions of years ago on Cybertron.

Rated X wrote: Skyfire” never got a toy from Hasbro. He only appeared in the G1 cartoon. “Jetfire” was a repaint of a Robotech toy and was not featured in the cartoon.
Rated X wrote:If the cartoon (and probably the comic) displays Omega as a Cybetronian alt mode than Cybertronian it is. Sunbow and Marvel were behinfd the G1 fiction, not Hasbro. All Hasbro did was make the toys and give Sunbow/Marvel a physical appearance to use in their drawings.
