Beast wars confuses me

Postby AUTOBOT STITH » Wed Oct 24, 2007 6:47 am

Ok it said it was in the future after the Autobots and Deceptacons but why are humans just now begining to evlove if it is in the future?

Because the Maximals and Predacons of the future Cybertron travel back in time via a transwarp drive to prehistoric Earth (specifically to a point in time before humans have evolved to our 'level' but after the Ark containing the Autobots and Decepticons has crashed on Earth).

Slightly over a year?

Try being here when the "Big Stupid Question Rush of Armada" happened a few years ago. I think people have gotten it into their collective heads that Armada does NOT fit into G1, in an way, shape, or form. I have the distinct feeling it's going to happen again when TF: Animated comes out.

 Actually, I thought Animated was supposed to fit into G1 somehow. I thought G1 was supposed to be the 'old war' of Animated's continuity. Bear in mind I read that in some post on this site, though.

I'm afraid some of the other posters spoiled the show for you.

Beast Wars stars characters from the future. 300 years or so. Therefore it's around 2400 on Earth.

When they land on the plant in Beast Wars, it has 2 moons, and the people are primitive. Therefore, it's not earth. I don't know why you thought it was Earth when there were two moons in the sky.

Except, as we find out later in the series, it actually is earth. One of the moons is a fake. So you were right after all.

At the same time we find this out, we also find out that they traveled back in time by accident at the very start of the show.

That's why everyone is primitive. Because it's been 4 million years in the past all along.
Buy my RiD toys! They're awesome, I promise!!!!
