Dr. Arkeville?

Weapon: Null-Ray Rifle
Just wondering...how did Dr. Arkeville become associated with the Decepticons in the first place anyway? I think I missed something in G1 Season 1...

Through the world domination chat room :P

Seriously though nobody really knows he just showed up in the Ultimate Doom with his Hypnochip. No previous history was ever given him.

Y'know, this question is even more confusing for the Japanese.

I say this because of how the episodes he appeared in were ordered for Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers.

We who saw the U.S. episodes know that he first appeared in "The Ultimate Doom", followed immediately by "Countdown to Extinction".

However, the Japanese got those episodes backwards! In FSRLTF, his debut was in "Countdown to Exticntion", as "the Ultimate Doom" aired as FSRLTF's series finale.

Which means, in Japan, he was allied with Starscream for no reason, and got turned into a cyborg soon after, and then reappeared later at the end of the series, back as an ordinary human, allied with Megatron, and then decided to ally with Starscream. Oy, this hurts my head.
