So who among the group loves a good read? I love movies, but there just arent enough to satisfy my imagination so in the last 2 years have got really into books as there is so many epic stories out there!

Big Star Wars book fan. Love the Clone Wars series!

Just finished:

Lord of the rings - awesome read. Took forever, but was so worth it!

Gates of Fire - Epic story of the battle of thermopylae.

And I just started reading: Tides of War - Based on the Peloponnesian War between Sparta and Athens. Starting off good.

Going to Ibiza in a week for a week of debauchery, and will be taking the first novel in David Gemmels "Troy" 8)

Got a fair sized collection of post-ROTJ SW novels.

Filling in time between books with Doctor Who. Plus the obligatory Harry Potter books and most recently i've been given a copy of "Adam Copeland on Edge". Quite an enjoyable read so far.

I keep meaning to pick up a few of Pratchett's books, but I never seem to get around to it. Have to fix that.

Recently, I've been completeing my Neil Gaiman collection. Next I'll probably finish off Tad Williams.

Raymond E Feist's stuff always interests me. As does George RR Martin's. Used to like David Eddings, but after reading the first 5 books, he gets extremely repeatative.
Loved reading The Time traveller's wife. It was a wonderful way to tell a love story.

i'm big into science fiction books like EU Star Wars, can't get enough of it. Can't wait for the new Republic Commando and Darth Bane books.

I liked the transformers trilogy a lot as well. Rainbow Six was probably my favorite read so far. I've also like a couple of books assigned to me from school, however unlikely that sounds. One was The Stranger by Albert Camus, I really like the philosophy behind it. The other was The Things They Carried by TIm O'Brien, gave me new insight into 'Nam and was quite enjoyable.

Currently reading Dune.

After that, either 1984, The Anti-Christ by Nietzsche or a book of poetry I got by Charles Bukowski. We'll see.

Terry Pratchett is definately my most favoured Author but I've only ever read his discworld stuff.

Other than that the majority of the stuff I read is history on warfare, mainly the first world war and the falklands because oddly enough, I always seem to find somthing to laugh about.

try reading Bill Bryson's a short history of everything, it's quite funny for a science book.

Weapon: High Energy MASER Cannons
Been digging myself through a crapload of Pratchett, Dune, and Lovecraft junk. Primarily focusing on Pratchett now since I've just about completed everything in the other two.
