Why are IronHide/Ratchet voyagers, and BoneCrusher/Brawl deluxes??

Postby DvDqNoC » Wed Jul 11, 2007 11:07 pm

Shouldnt it be the other way around?

Sure, i know that a big GMC truck and a Hummer are big vehicles, but they are still regular vehicles that you and i drive in the street.

Brawl on the other hand... hes a HUGE TANK! The thing is NOT the same size as a Camaro in real life! I think brawl would be better suited as a Voyager rather than a Deluxe.

And Bonecrusher - well correct me if im wrong, but after seeing the movie more than once, he is just as big (if not bigger) that Optimus himself.

So I really think BoneCrusher and Brawl should be voyagers, and IronHide and Ratchet shuold be Deluxes, unlike the way it is currently. What do yall think?

Simple.

Ratchet and Ironhide are good guys. When it comes to movie toys, good guys sell better than bad guys.

So, make Ratchet and Ironhide big guys, and thus more expensive, and kids are more likely to beg their parents to get them for them.

Meanwhile, Brawl and Bonecrusher are bad guys. Make them cheaper, and thus more likely to be bought.

Really? I personally think that the bad guys looked a WHOLE LOT cooler than the good guys in the movie. Im sure im not the only one who feels this way other. Barricade man. That thing is tight.

From what I've noticed almost all the autobots are in scale with each other. Bumblebee and Jazz are small autobots so making Ironhide and Ratchet the same size would throw it all off. The decepticons are in scale with themselves for the most part (minus barricade), however the autobots are not in scale with the decepticons. They could have mixed everything around but then scale would be even worse. I like what they did, this always leaves it open to make new larger decepticons to make everything a relatively close scale.

It's not ever going to be perfect, but they did a pretty good job, especially when compared to previous tf lines like hmmm beast machines? Heh.

All the Autobots are to scale (assuming Leader Prime) as is Barricade and Scorponok. Leader Brawl should be about right too. Megatron and Starscream would need to be a Supreme, and Blackout would have to be something bigger than Supreme. Bonecrusher could just about get away w/ being a Voyager.

Barricade's scale?? What about Blackout's?? He should be the largest Decepticon...instead he is only slightly larger than a deluxe. Man do I want them to make him a more representative size (leader class). I love the voyager figure of him but I just wish he was larger. He was simply a bad a$$ in the movie. :)
