Just saw a guy audition on American Idol wearing this homemade Transformers costume with a big ol Autobot symbol on it. Needless to say he didn't get to transform and roll out to Hollywood.

I saw this as well..Almost pissed myself from laughing so hard.They even use a sound clip of the Transformers 1986 movie theme in a comical way.
Hasbro should invest in these costumes.

This guy really pissed me off. Let me tell you why:
I work at Power Plant with mostly "Goog Ole Boys". Wonderful group of people. I get my Ebay stuff shipped to the generating station because there is always a guard at the guard shack that can receive my packages. I have a 70's Camaro painted like bumblebee. Therefore, everyone knows I collect Transformers. I have never been picked on about being a 28 year old toy collector, until now. That douche gave my co workers alot of ammo. "Is that what ya'll do? Get togetha an pretend to transform and shhhtuff?" Honestly, it was embarrassing. There is a place for that suit: Conventions and Halloween. I mean, yea the suit drives, but there have been WAY better ones made. I just think he smudged the face of the fandom with that horrid attempt at a performance.
