i have the daggers facing the side first, push into the palm then straighten them (not sure if i'm making sense or not), apply pressure at the center of the hilt.

It is a hard cover version of LSOTW, yes! Good eye.
The first comic I actually bought in person from one of the creators, Roche, and the one that tricked me into start reading RID and MTMTE (Ryall was at the same stall, selling off his wares). I regret nothing.
