So my last post in this thread was obliterated when the site crashed, but here it is again!

Stormcloud was a G1 MicroMaster that got tired of being the size of Bumblebee's nostril, so between 1989 and 2008 he went to the gym and got swole (and also stole Tailwind's vehicle mode). The result is an amazing repaint of Universe Powerglide! I Didn't like this design as Powerglide, but in these colours and as a Decepticon, I think it's awesome! Amazing what a pallet swap can do!

So a while ago I made this Kre-O dude and named him Slime Boss. So here he is again!

So I picked up one of those small Thrilling 30 mini Megatron figures and I noticed his head was about the same size and very similar sculpt as the leader class Megatron.

I said it before, and I'll say it again. I loved the character design for ROTF (twins excluded). The inhuman silhouettes and proportions are fitting for mechanical creatures who came from another planet. The monoped, serpentine look of Arcee, Flareup, and Chromia from the film are among my favorite Transformer designs from the film series because of this.

Chromia in particular is a fun design. She looks good in robot and vehicle modes, and the transformation from one to the other is fun. A bit fiddly, but still fun (more fun than having struggled with ROTF Optimus Prime the first time I transformed him, anyway)!

Finally got AM Ironhide so I can finally have the actual figure the way it was supposed to be released by hasbro (or just about) with the right guns:



This does look like a damn good amalgamation of the Movie and G1 aesthetic.

Still cant get over just how awesome and random it is that there are holes and tabs on the RTS Megatron made especially for MP Starscream to hold him in gun mode (thats some pretty crazy synergy between Hasbro and Takara):

Especially since Soundwave did have that alt mode in Galaxy Force. However they did repaint the skystalker mold into lazerbeak.

Yeah, that Soundwave combined with Mindwipe looking decidedly Soundwave-esque, complete with an opening chest panel (that looks just like Soundwave's face), plus having a smaller figure to directly interact with, had me convinced we'd see a Generations Soundwave repaint, with a Ratbat-Skystalker since the Scout's very bat-like.
But then it never happened. Not Hasbro, not Takara, not BotCon, nothing.


Although I think there's a blue Mindwipe repaint somewhere, but as Dreadwing or something. I suppose you could gt him and that Laserbeak, though it's not quite the vision I had.
