An absolute glorious shot too. I love the recent water pictures from everybody in the thread! I'm hoping to fill my backpack up with some figures and spend a day or evening on the road here doing some pictures. Autumn in Pennsylvania is an amazing time of year, and perfect for TF pics.

Sometimes a toy comes along that I'm sure I'll hate at first, but then I end up liking. The character Windblade was a new invention in Transformers where Hasbro made the character via fan-poll. I voted for a female Decepticon who turned into a tank and fought with her fists so OF COURSE I DIDN'T FUDGEING GET WHAT *I* WANTED!

Before she was just a regular transformer with a funny looking face. I was mistakenly calling her face design "Geisha" but it turns out it's more Kabuki (which I think means demon or fighter, or mask or something, I don't know I don't speak the language!); at first I hated it when they were teasing pictures of the character, but since then it has grown on me considerably. Windblade photographs well and is one of those transformers I can mindlessly transform back and forth while waiting for games to update.

The newest version of her I'm quite enjoying actually. I'm not sure why Headmasters became Titan Masters, probably because they choose to name things based off of dice rolls or throwing darts. Anyhow, the gimmick where the head can be pulled off and transform into a littler robot is fun to do. Windblade's littler robot is named Scorchfire. Presumably there's one out there that could be unironically named Dampwater now.

The reason I enjoy this new Titan Master thing Hasbro is doing, is because I get to put all manner of silly heads on Windblade, and then I can put her head on giant bodies. Hours of fun! Also one of the best things about this new Titan Masters thing is that I have 14 Transformer heads lying around or I could pile them in movie Optimus Prime's trailer. I'll probably end up getting more titan master heads too because I'm a sucker like that.

Windblade isn't the best figure of the line by any means, but she is so good looking and so much fun. She is a great figure for posing and for other fun stuff

As much as I dig Thunderwing, he only looks cool doing the Dirty Harry.

And as much as I enjoy Combiner Hunter Windblade, I will buy her TR incarnation if it ever is available in OR.

Got myself a new Arcee today. I was definitely curious how she stacked up with what came before.




The earlier Generations one looks better, but as a toy, I think this one has a bit of an edge. Both blow Animated Arcee away, of course.




She, or rather the other little dude she comes with, presents an opportunity. Consider that I also have add-ons for my Optimus that make him no longer a Headmaster. Seems to me that I can maybe fill up Godbomber's seats now, and get over being upset that I already had orders in before Takara announced the set with the extra pair of Headmasters:

And Seaspray is lots of fun with giant feet (he will be in my backpacking adventures soon, gotta go to a stream nearby) and God Ginrai is awesome, especially using Magnus Prime. The combo is up for my TR/Legends figure of the year

Belatedly, an unrepainted Hasbro Cybertron Starscream would be fun to see up against her for the similar reasons. He's go the colors, and while he doesn't have turbofans he does have swords
