Just got this sword on eBay for .99 cents... Pretty sweet...

From Lena I bet? Y U NO got the silver shield too? It would have been nice with that sword.

I snagged the regular SnS set for a whopping dollar myself. How's the chrome impacting the tolerance? I know a layer of chrome can make pegs hard to fit sometimes.

Beast Hunters was interesting in terms of the toys. I got most of the Predacons, none of the Decepticons (except Croc-Out), and most of the Autobots (only because I missed most of the FE and RID lines). Optimus Prime got one of the better makeovers for the toyline, and the only one that was actually in the show. Not a bad figure at all, the green sword is weird, and the lack of a waist swivel hurts it, but otherwise, this is a pretty sweet OP figure!

I actually ordered / have a bid on the shield.

The fit is actually not bad if anything its lose. I just did a shoot comparing Dr. Wu's DP M01 Cavalier (purple) to it. Definitely not a kids toy my guess is with minor play this thing will chip and break quickly. But for a dollar it is worth it

Skullgrin was easily my favorite Pretender from G1. I had his toy as a kid, lost it somewhere, bought a new one at a flea market! It was just the shell with Bugly inside, but later that year I bought Bugly and it had Skullgrin inside. Weird. Anyway, Generations Skullgrin is a nicely done update for the character! The robot mode takes aesthetic ques from the original toy's shell AND inner robot and blends them perfectly, even though it's a repaint, I missed out on Darkmount, so it doesn't count! \o/
