Last week was my first time taking pictures of Transformers in public. I was nervous at first, but was surprised how few people paid me any mind. At worst; I got a glance, a shrug and then ignored.

AB looks to be having fun. I guess that's one of the benefits of being the "extra" member of a combiner team. He looks like such a tourist with his sunglasses on in all the pictures.

To be fair, he tells me what to do most of the time..

( I got several smiles, nods and people taking photos of me taking photos today, it was a great experience!

I had forgotten how Cybertron-like they were. There is a definite difference in posability compared to more recent toys, but all the same, I feel like they still look great. The big, blocky forms work and frankly, it's nice not to have a bunch of gaping holes in arms and legs.

Swerve invited AB to ride along with us today, but the weather has been pretty bad.

Poor guys have been trapped in the van all day. They popped up to the dash just to stare at the rain.

He could be better in regards to color, especially on his chest.

The problem with him is that unlike the others, his coloring is the most off, lacking the green legs and chest.

TFC did black treads on him and Scavenger and I don't take issue with that. There was some controversy on his chest and whether or not the final production was supposed to be changed. It didn't pan out. I think TFC always does something a bit off with their colors just to avoid actually cloning Hasbro designs entirely. I think it's their conceit.

Is he the weakest of the six? Yeah. But in a way, he always was. I kind of accept that like the guys who like MT Giant accept that their Long Haul is crap. Nothing is perfect, ya know?
