Don't need these BadCube Insecticons to be legends or Commander scale, As I got the HasTak toys. Need these to be at least big deluxes or Voyager scale before I consider buying them.

Still don't like Badcubes, extremely fat chunky lower legs and thick thighs on their robot modes toys.

The Insecticons were pretty tiny guys on the scale chart. If these are standard deluxe size they might replace the FP Insecticons in my collection (they were good, but never G1 enough).

Hope theyre deluxe so we can use them as classics. FP are cool and all but too much neo for me to truly feel 100% happy with.

What a great time for the Decepticons! It's promising that Badcube's last releases looked pretty good with limited issues. I like the look of this set of Cons. Ready to see more.

OTS-05 CLAYMORE individual shot, forgive the super loose prototype, not easy to make poses [prototype only, not final]

OTS-06 HYPNO. we sometimes wonder why our figure look better inperson than photo. the design of the knees on all 3 robots are different and we found out the prototype material is too loose, the knees flopped back inside, so the overall look leads to shorter proportion. He lost about 4mm in photo compared to his 3D art, and the hips are also loose when posed in wider stance.

as said they are only prototype and 06 Hypno will have lengthen legs by roughly 5mm [he looks shorter now due to collapsed knees]

These look more like the "Insectikids", and appeal to my fondness of chibi characters. However, if these are going to be MP I need them to look a little more "adult". I'm hoping there are a few more adjustments to these guys.

I think they look great. I reckon they will be in the same price range as the FP Insecticons. $160 ish for the team.

On a side note. Speaking of Insecticons. I'd like FP to put out a Classics Venom to accompany the Deluxe Insecticon set i bought off them. Seriously.....i need a neo Venom figure. Badly. To complete my set.
Or any 3rd party group for that matter. Venom needs an updated figure that looks exactly like the picture below. But i digress......

Bombshell needs more purple, especially on the chest. That aside they look good.

Thing is Badcubes figures are heavily based off the G1 cartoon not the G1 toys .

Didn't Bombshell have a purple chest in the cartoon? I could have sworn he did in A Plague of Insecticons, and the part of his weevil mode his chest formed was definitely purple.

Also, accuracy aside, the grey just looks dull.

After some quick online researching, Found out the FP Insecticons are 1.0 Deluxe Rodimus height in robot modes.

Think FP did a better job with the Aesthetics and proportions sculpted designs. Don't need 3rd parties to create similar scaled toys. need different toy scales.

Still don't like Badcubes terrible overly chunky lower legs on all of their toys. Think FP won the deluxe scale insecticons toy battle. Think the only way for BadCube to gain some points here is to make voyager toy versions of each insecticon.

Think the FP Insecticons look higher sculpted and less generic looking than the Badcube insecticons toys look.
