Im so happy i managed to pre-order one. I already put £150 aside for this. Luckily for me it UM-Armor Kit + Internationshipping only comes to £50 ($102)

Sorry, but im not payin 97 bucks for a accurate classics Ultra mAgnus when I could just have a repaint of Optimus for 20.

I was so looking forward to this, but I can't afford it!
I'll have to spend time on my Lego version of G1 Magnus. If I stay focused, I can have it completed by the end of summer.

I could not agree more. BBTS doesn't penalize you for canceling a preorder. This doesn't come out until September, surely you can save up enough by then to cover this, that works out to less than 20.00 a month. With this being limited the preorder will probably sell out fast, then it will be Ebay rape time.

Looks great, but I'm glad I don't want it and don't have Ultra Magnus, it's too expensive. I'd rather save for Encore and Masterpiece releases. The Animated is also awesome.

with so many people preordering i hope i can get a set, i cant right now as my lazy no job self has no money. i wonder if they'll make another batch in the future

Why not go ahead and preorder it, if your still broke five months from now cancel. I wouldn't bet on there being a reissue.

At any rate, I ordered one of them. But... Wasn't there once something about a Universe/2.0 Ultra Magnus? A brand new mold, not a repaint? Do I recall that correctly, or did I dream that?

that new came from last year's botcon and all we heard was we were going to get a Magnus that wasn't a Prime repaint.

Well Animated Magnus is different (and very cool looking), so I'm 99% certain that is what Hasbro was talking about.

Pre-ordered on myself. That thing looks soooo sweet, can't wait to for it to get here!

Got mine pre-ordered. Thanks for the heads up. Now all I have to buy is a Classic Ultra Magnus to go with it. Unfortunately, after spending a fortune on Transformers this weekend, damn you Botcon, I am taking a sebatical from buying Transformers until August (going to Auto Assembly). Need to let my money build up again.

I'm gonna chime in with everyone agreeing on this. Preordering is safe, your not fully committed to anything, and personaly I have a feeling that another site may put it up for cheaper.

Still, why take the chance, cause once this sells out, yeah, I bet thats gonna be it. It's undoubtadly a nice rarety for a collection.

As for people that are saying they wanted it, but can't afford it, you have till September to save, plenty of time to put in some extra hours.

As for the younger folks out there, hey same deal! I was doing some yard work today and the kid across the street offered to help for $10. He worked his ass off, I gave him $30!

When I was a kid, I use to do the same things, and I always had my own money.

So basicly, theres plenty of time to make the money, put in some extra hours, grab a lawnmower and ring your neigbors doorbell. Just don't tell me that you can't get this cause your broke, when you have 5 months to plan.

If it's a principal matter, thats one thing. But if it's a lazy thing, then more nice toys for me, and "wish I hads" for you.

Exactly, you hit the nail on the head. I'm not saying 80.00 for some add on parts isn't a lot, becasue it is. But were talking five months down the road. If this is something you really want, preorder now and save up for it. Like you said this will be a rarity, and it will really look nice along with all the rest of the classics.

Preorder this now. The price is good and it will be pretty much the same to all offered retailers. As soon as the preorder is done the price is going to skyrocket. And it is still going to be a little while before it comes out. Put it in Pile of Loot and save your money!
