I've preordered him, but I'm not certain I'm keeping him. The colours just don't stand out for me all that well.

Yes, yes.
The dark navy on the trailer looks like it might be a fairly close match to SG Prime's navy. The more I look at this, the more I'm tempted. But my Shattered Glass figures are crowded on their shelf as it is, It'll take serious work to make them fit if Prime's wearing that get up.

Or I could buy more shelves.

I'm a little put off they're releasing a new one right on the heals of City Commander, which I just bought but haven't received yet. I would probably appreciate this more in a few months.

YES! Passed on the Magnus armor. Glad I did cause this is just freaking sweet. Between this and my Hot Toys Mark III Iron Man I am going to be one happy broke person this fall.

I'm surprized they didn't do Powered Convoy next. Nonetheless, preordered!

BTW, what happened with that Takara Henkei Black Convoy? Was it ever released?

Ever since I saw those first pics of this, I'd been considering actually getting Nemmy because I loved his color scheme, with the hope of persuading one of my artistic friends to do a repaint of a second city commander, kinda like Asphalt22 mentioned. So, yeah, needless to say this got pre-ordered and Nemesis Prime got bought from hasbrotoystore tonight. Lordy lordy, this truly is the best release season I can remember pretty much ever. I do hope, though, that if FP continue this line through all the molds that Powered Convoy as previously seen doesn't end up being the final color scheme. Definitely wasn't in to that look

Edit: Now that I think of it, I'm sure the colors on that PC repaint are from some later G1(victory, zone, or something) version of Prime I'm not familiar with and make perfect sense if that's the case. Still not impressed with the colors, though

That just define sexy right there. Seriously, this Magn...er I mean Shadow Commander really looks amazing. I'm so glad i pre-ordered mine. And that sword looks awesome under his hand like that. Fansproject is quickly rising my my new favorite toy company's list....

I guess I'll be the lone exception. The colors bore me. Maybe if there was a lot more red or something, but the combination of black/gunmetal/teal/green doesn't really impress me. Looks too monotone.

I'll be happy enough with the Ultra Magnus version. MAYBE order Powered Convoy later if it's reasonable, as I have to buy an Optimus Prime/Ultra Magnus Classics set anwyay.

If someone else has already responded to this and I missed it I apologize for the redundancy, but it does say in the bbts listing that the black sword is a prototype and the release have a "clear pink/red" red one. i'm guessing it'll prolly be like the one he's standing with in the second pic

Wow, that's pretty cool - the fact that he has a sword is really neat.

I thought SDCC Nemesis Prime was overpriced and passed on him, so I won't be buying Shadow here, perhaps I wouldn't even if I had NP - The armour is a Magnus thing, an evil clone of Prime shouldn't have it.

Very cool of Fans Project to listen to the fandom and dish them up these tasty treats like this.

Wow, that looks great. Although, I must agree that Magnus-shaped armor does seem a little odd on a N. Prime figure. If this were available in stores, I'd probably get it, along with the Nememsis figure.

However, I'm very lucky to have been able to order City Commander, so I'll have to pass.

I would love to see a Powermaster trailer set made similar to this for Classics Optimus Prime, and then a Nemesis repaint of that would be required purchases for me. My wallet would just have suffer for a while. =P~

My wish has been granted! The only thing they could improve on would be to have a newly sculpted head. Absolutely love that sword!

Meh, more interested in the new comic that's supposed to be coming with it. Guess I share the idea that only Magnus should have magnus-type armor. Still a good looking figure, but for once I find myself thinking, "Too much black.".
