I currently do not have ANY Optimus Primes besides WFC Prime, Animated Voyager Prime and KO Crystal Animated Deluxe Optimus Prime. So I am definitely due for a Masterpiece Prime...lol considering I have been trying to get the MPL-01 but been sold out everywhere. But this I might just keep my pre-order on BBTS considering I have quite a few items coming in september that I am getting.

CP should contact BBTS and tell them what it is since their product description leads everyone to believe that it's probably a new figure, not a repaint...

I would guess that BBTS probably already knows what it is but agreed not to reveal it until Takara does.

quite possibly...they will ask for proof as well. Cause speculation is a double-edged sword in business...it could definitely help but it also could definitely hurt

Also BBTS already says that "the information states this is a 'New' figure, so we do not expect any repaints of prior releases."

*shrugs* They have stated that MPL-01 is the last of that particular prime mold. So this technically would also be a new figure considering its a brand new mold.

...and from what I can tell MPL-01 doesn't come with a trailer

No I said MPL-01 is the LAST CHANCE to get the old Masterpiece Prime mold.

So if MP-10 is really Optimus Prime with his Trailer, this will be a completely NEW mold of him hence making him a new figure.

The preorder, MP-10, will be a brand new mold.
It will be a new mold of G1 Prime with trailer.

MPL-01 was the last run for the original MP Optimus mold.

BBTS already knows that it's likely going to be a new sculpt, not a repaint. They say so on the preorder page.

No idea, but from what I heard it's going to be the ultimate Prime.

There are none yet. Takara/Hasbro has not officially announced what the figure will be. The only reason we know that it's a new Prime is that Counterpunch has more access to info than we do.
