I really hope these rumors are just that. Rumors. Because I've REALLY been looking forwards to these two.

Guess all of the negative comments on the upscale Cyberverse stuff finally got to them.

As for Legends I'm sad to see that go if this is true. I could do without Prime, Megatron, and the like, but the minicar characters were perfect for this line. I got Bumblebee and really wanted Swerve, Cosmos, and Tail Gate, too. I guess it wouldn't be Hasbro if they didn't find a way to seriously piss off their collectors at least once a year. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, the Walmarts around me clearance Legends Prime and BB about a month after they stocked them and never got Megs and Screamer.

Fingers crossed for Takara Tomy.

What really sucks about this is that Tailgate , Shrapnel , Cosmos , and Swerve have been teased on the Official Transformers Facebook for several months now. Way to kick us in the balls and the wallet!

Perhaps the Legends will be rereleased after the movie passes or discount retailers , tru etc. Who knows at this point their fate is up in the air!

This would suck as I was looking forward to the legends figs, but I already paid 3rd Party prices for the iGear versions...not going to pay 3rd Party prices again for the official ones to replace what I already have, which replaced the previous official versions. If they turn up at retail or discount stores, I'll replace the iGear ones, otherwise fuhk it...what I already have is sufficient.

And BTW, why they don't sell these canceled, already produced figures through HTS is beyond comprehension...

I could give a damn about legends/legions class figures. Igear got those characters covered for me. Kind of sucks about the deluxe terrorcons though. I wanted them. I thought those simplified lines were made with the US market in mind (where the kids are so dumb they cant tie their own shoes)

If they cancel that entire line of G1 minibot Legends, I will be LIVID. :BANG_HEAD:

Find a place for them, Hasbro. Exclusives, convention, specialty store... RELABEL them in movie lineup packaging like you've done before, but GET THESE OUT. They're the best thing you've done in years.

Just about everything I had an interest in is getting canned. And I hate how it seems like every year at about this time we here of a whole swath of toys being dropped...

I kinda want to blame those Data Discs, shelfwarming so long and hard they literally started to rot (it's true, the packaging started to fall apart on the store shelves), but I know blaming doesn't really help any. *sigh*

Bottom line, I wish Hasbro would plan better. Best toys getting cancelled is a huge disappointment to the long time fans... not to mention unprofessional.

Hasbro's management are grade A morons. One visit to fan sites could have told you that Legends mini-bots would have sold like hotcakes. You just drove all that money to your competition (iGear, Maketoys, etc.)

Just bought Asian Swerve and Cosmos off ebay.

I really hope this is just a rumor, or if not that the Legends somehow make it over here like the GDOs.

And I was really looking forward to getting Shrapnel and his pack-in partner Reflector, too. Would've complimented Megatron and Starscream very nicely. I'm glad to see those horrible upscaled Cyberverse figures might be on the canned list, too. That was a disaster in wait.

I guess we'll have to wait until Seibertron and El Duque to send back word on whether this is true or not.

I don't know why this was front paged to begin with. We're at or a few hours before Toy Fair. This rumour can be squashed by one word from a Hasbro exec. Maybe if nothing shows up after Toy Fair, then news it.

Second thing that irks me is that this source isnt even reliable. TFW and Seibertron.com don't see eye to eye all the time, but when this source is a banned member of TFW, I have a doubt in my eye.

Third thing has to be the supposed comments from Joel of BBTS and Curt of TFsource. I've read hundreds of e-mails from Joel and Curt from being on staff for 6 years and the last thing they are is cryptic. If they actually said this, then copy and paste it and show it to us all.

In contrast, now we have this rumor on the front page, bunch of fans are going crazy and scalpers are getting fed money online @ ebay. Good stuff.

Oh Walnut Fudge! I hate to say I kinda saw this coming. These figures were shown over 6 months ago and in the case of the generation legends were being released on a fairly regular schedule so when they didn't show up after normal times I got a bad feeling. The up-scaled deluxes and voyagers kinda make sense as well as that last wave of legion figures, for better or worse Beast Hunters ended with a thud when the tv movie was released and people quickly moved on. While I'd like to get the Ace Vehicon and Bluestreak I never saw them on eBay and really can't justify paying the mark ups they're going to go for.

I'll add my voice to the choir of souls who just paid way to much for Cosmos and Swerve. At least they've been reviewed so we know their good toys. Also don't expect the Hasbro reps at Toy Fair to give a straight answer or any answer at all, they usually avoid answering questions about line availability.

Since when is my news credit any less reliable then anyone elses?

I was banned from TFW2005 because they refused to give me news credit on 2 protos in one week and then tried to justify their pettiness in PM. I have 20 news credits here on Seibertron and over 20 on TFW2005 in the short time I was active on that site. How the hell does that have anything to do with my credibility?

They are so petty on that site they refuse to acknowledge that carded Movie Trilogy Wheeljack even exists. They also remove any mention of me and PM members not to mention me if they do. Talk about a bunch of people trying to hide the truth from people!
