New headsculpt of RedAlert *1
RedAlert's shoulder-mounted missile launcher *1
RedAlert's high-energy particle beam rifle *1
Sideswipe's piledriver *2
Sideswipe's shoulder-mounted launcher *1
Siderwipe's photon rifle *1
and maybe more...

Personally I'm using Renderform's Red Alert kit, but I really want my Sideswipe to get his proper guns.

100% pointless and 100% not needed

you can get the kit from venska off 2005 for 1 thing but theres also another guy on there who does kits on command whos even adding some extra shoulder pieces to sunstreaker

seriously this isnt needed. Why not make something we DO need like classics jazz shoulder launcher and guns or maybe classic junkion guns or something

It looks like third-party company Beezleboss have set their sights on Universe 2.0 Sideswipe and Generations Red Alert with an upgrade set titled "Heroic Duo". UK fansite Full Metal Hero has posted the following regarding the upcoming set:

For those wondering why Sideswipe has piledrivers listed as an accessory, there were a couple of episodes in the original Transformers cartoon where he was seen using piledriver-like devices.

Head scuplt looks decent, it's just a liitle late as I already built a custom head for my generations red alert. Still though this is very cool for people who don't want to hack up plastic.

I like Renderform's stuff. Got like $200 worth of it. Too bad i was too late to get the "red alert" upgrade stuff he had. This will have to make do. probably will get on pre-order when it becomes available w/ pics.

I wasn't pleased with how their Devil Horns set looked. The face was off and the sculpt looked bland. Their Growing Pains set however, was an improvement in aesthetics that I purchased it. It's a great upgrade set and shows me that Beelzeboss is improving on their products. Hopefully this Red Alert and Sideswipe set follow suit. The concept art looks promising.

As good as Ventska's sets are, I honestly hope the fandom isn't blindly dismissing Beelzeboss's offerings. The two are often compared and it's the reason I bring this up. Keep an open mind

I agree, hopefully this set continues their history of improving their products. I have both the "devil horns" and "growing pains" sets. Renderform and Beelzeboss are rightfully compared. Both give us ever improving quality sets. If i had to choose between the two, i would go with the one that best represents the accessory they are trying to provide. But, this could lead to "6 of one and half-dozen" of the other arguments. Either way you win.

I'd prefer to get the renderform SS head, since I already have his RA noggin.

But since he is not getting to those any time soon, I'll probably get at least the SS colored version.
