So i went pass a collector store few days ago, and saw they had magically restocked on a bunch of Classics 2.0 Starscream and Acid Storm. Moreover, they were $15 SGD ($11.50 US) only. Ive always wanted Starscream, so this was quite an easy grab.
However i was kinda suspicious this might be a KO .. but i was told by the shop owners otherwise.Of all the Universes, why only the seekers?
Well Basically long story short it
IS a KO ... Haven't seen any reports of a KO Universe Starscream, so i thought i'll share, plus some tips for telling the diffrence
1st off, the box. Its very well made, down to the chromed "25 years" logo. However, its kind of a lighter red, than the original Universes packing. Looks like either it's been in the sun too long, or been photocopied. I keep all my Tfs boxes, and none have shown signs of such fading. Hard to tell straight away, till you compare it to another red TF box (I don't have an original Universe box handy, so a PCC one will do)

2nd, packing issues. The KO Starscream had loads of tape taping the bubble onto the card... But i already removed the tape.
The null rays are also positioned backwards, as compared to the real ones.

Out of the box, you can see it more clearly.

The actual Null Ray missiles are packaged oddly too... In my case, 1 is upside down, while there are others i saw that had both upside down.

That's about all the differences you can spot while its still boxed.
The figure itself is rather spot-on. The paint is fairly decent, no splotches and mess ups, but it may differ from figure to figure, due to the low QC.

However there is a slight molding issue, like with the 1st batches of CHMS seekers.
There is no indent in the knee area, as seen in the picture. However, its not all that noticeable on the shelf.

Another slight problem i have is that one of the Null Ray launcher is jammed. It takes quite a lot of force to pry the missile out of it.

Well that's about all the differences I can spot. Not sure what's the company behind this. Even has all the Hasbro copyright logos. Well its still dirt cheap, and still looks good with other seekers.
