Hello all. Was out and about today and ran into something I hadn't seen or heard about. Big Lots has 25th anniversary, Universe mini-cons. They are individually packaged and cost $4. Took a pic of a couple of them. They had 5 total characters. Looks like repaints to me but some of you may be interested. If this discovery has already been brought up, I appogize for the duplicate thread.

Moved to the Toys forum.

The Big Lots single packs of Mini-Cons are the same Mini-Cons from the Kmart exclusive 12 pack set that was released about a year ago (or earlier this year ... I can't remember).

If these were closer to $2, I'd buy them all. But $4 is outrageous for a "discount" store like Big Lots.

Agreed. Makes the Kmart exclusive 12 pack of these guys look cheap.

What further made me mad was that my K-Mart was charging the same for the new 10 pack as it was for last year's 12 pack. I actually haggled with the manager because the description said "12 pack" in the system, and got $4 off. :-)
