Megaman Zero Collection!

I bought it. Its the one for $10 right? Which has 4 of the old games in one? I started playing it but it just drops you right into the action and I felt really disoriented. there wasnt even a text to know what was up.

That's just how it goes. You get used to it quick, but the bosses are challenging unless you're playing super-easy mode.

I've been meaning to try and track down the MMZ collection. Where'd ya find it for 10$. On that note I'd highly recommend the Mega Man ZX games on DS. I wanna say I played them backwards and preferred the original one more.

I played a few of those Zero games on GBA and they are hard as nails. Got some neat mechanics with the cyber elves. I'm a sucker for all things Mega Man :x

And yes, I mean going back and replaying stages in LM to find missing gems or trying to improve your score with the new gear you get.

Oh yeah, I keep forgetting to track down ZX and Advent...I was never all that into the Classic series. X, Zero, and maybe ZX are more my speed.

MM2 for life, but most of the OG MM games fall flat. I prefer X or even Legends.

The ZX series is neat and builds on what Zero had to offer. Mixes it up a lot.

Now if you like X and have either a PSP or Vita I'd recommend MM: Maverick Hunter X over any other MM game ever made. It's a 2.5D update/slight remix to MMX but upon finishing it you get Vile mode and playing as Vile changes the game completely and honestly for the better. One of the few games I've ever beat every which way but loose. ;)^

Guys, I dont know what I am talking about. I dont know titles well at all. I was talking about the old school megaman game that you can buy on the e-shop for 10$ (it was on sale, its usually 20 i think) where you have about 4 ol school games in one. You pick a game, pick a boss level and you are dropped down into a 32 bit (or is it 16 bit?) world where everything wants you dead.

Mega Man Legacy Collection I presume?

We're talking about the GBA MMZ titles ported to DS in one tidy difficult package. Next time I see it at game stop I'm jumping.

Also, it sounds like the ace attourney series that was a GBA trilogy brought over to the DS

Its so weird, I would have thought they would have DS games in the E-shop since all DS games can be played on the 3DS.

I'd like to say it's a port/emu issue, but DS games play nativly on the 3DS.muat just be a money thing.

I'd buy the hellfire out of some DS games though.

I just wish SNES games were available on the *old* 3ds :(

Yes, please check out NIER, Will!

The first NIER had fetch quests and the combat got button-mashy after a while, but the music (!) and story easily kept me going....so much that I beat the game thrice!

I'm expecting Automata to be even better, after reading the reviews.

And I absolutely loved Valkyria Chronicles - even played the sequels on PSP. The 3rd game perfected the gameplay....too bad it was never translated, and on PSP only (lol).

Furi sounds like my kinda game, Cary -- will read-up on it s'more, but my gaming backlog be vast (arrrrrrrrrr).

And, Will, are you talking about the superb GOD HAND on PS2?!?!? :HEADHURTS:
IMG_5307.PNG
GOD HAND FTW

3DS games I'd recommend/love:
-Devil Survivor (all of em)
-FE (all!)
-SMT (all - love IV and SJ)
-Zero Escape (all)

I haven't played a Megaman game in so long, Sigma! I'm glad it's still alive. :)

Oh snap, I forgot about the Zero Escape series. Add a big ol heaping of seconded from me. Such amazing games, well more like digital novels with insane puzzle solving, but so good!

I played the second one and can't wait to play the third.

That was the first game in a long time where I had to get out a pen and paper. :michaelbay:

Those series I listed were basically why I bought the 3DS!

Zero Escape was definitely new, and the first game, 999, was so good! I enjoyed Virtue's Last Reward as well, and a little less than halfway through #3 -- but then SMT4: Apocalypse came along and I had to beat the crap outta that. :p

Anyone have the fail-handheld, PSVita? I basically bought one to play the Danganronpa series -- love them too!

It's a shame Sony just left it face down in a ditch to die, but what can you do. It plays all the indie games and JRPGs you could shake a stick at ;)^

Yes I totally meant God Hand, sorry I forgot the title. Thats a whole generation I missed, too bad it was never ported or rereleased in HD. And while I was not playing games then, I did get to eventually play Metal gear Solid 3, which was incredible. I usually have a hard time playing games that are before 2007 ish (my adult gaming life begins with Bioshock, my greatest love) but this one ws well worth it.

Anyways, Devil Survivor is on sale right now on the eshop, buying it all. It better be good OR ELSE!!!!

Also, whats FE and SMT. Is that affiliated to SMTown live? :-P

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. But what I like about the HD remasters isnt really the look, but more how they usually modernize the controls to fit what I am more acustomed to. Like how the PS2 and PS1 MGS games inverted which buttons means select and back. Things like that. I will give god hand a try when I get back into console gaming. For now, I am looking into those 3DS games.
