A cool figure and that Tak deco is killer. Easily one of my fav Lost Lighters.

"polish my hub caps" I checked urban dictionary and I couldn't find which euphemism that is

Thanks Cary! No idea how I didn't see your post earlier, but do you have some space dedicated to the Lost Lighters like some of us do? If so, PICS PLZ :BOT: :D

You definitely got the best version of Swerve!
Yes sorta. I had a space, but I'm in the middle of a huge rearrange project that Cap'n Procrastination keeps steering off course.

As you know, Swerve and I go errywhere ;)^

Here is an old pic of the partial crew having some fun. The only pic of the old display I could find was too out of focus to use.

Here is the current state of affairs with some cameos by non lost lighters.

Missing a ton of stragglers from the other shelf, but this is where they live for now. At some point they will have there own spot or at least section. I'm still in the middle of figuring out how I want my shelves and such. I populated that shelf just to use as a backdrop for taking pics.

That is not a bad representation of the character, but kind of an awkward figure.

I'm considering that Make Toys kit more for the Cyclonus update than for that sweet Tailgate.

Rewind is breakin'?!? TOO COOL, Cary! 8-)

I really love that background of bots, so cameos galore!

And that's what I was thinking with that Tailgate + Cyclonus accessories -- he looks awesome, and I could upgrade a version of Cyclonus I also dig (but need to obtain lol).

Most likely, though, I'll keep Boreas and get CHUG Tailgate. :HEADHURTS:

I'm keeping an eye on that set. If it goes just a little on sale I'm jumping. That Cyclonus is really nice and I just received it myself actually.

Looking at the make toys Tailgate makes me want to paint up the Gen figure to be a better match. White shins and legs and maybe some blue behind the head to make it stand out would be nice.

Nice, if you just got that Cyclonus, then this would be a pretty sweet set to upgrade him - and you could probably find a home for Tailgate, if you wanted to free one up. ;)^

Hey bodrock, that Wendigo is destroying me everytime. Since his weakness is fire my idea is to get all the kabusos I can, level them up in free fights and charge the wendigo with my 3 characters one after the other. I dont really know what else to do aside from that.

I definitely remember this as one of the first truly difficult battles, Will!

Rushing can definitely work (surround and spam 'im with agi) -- you can also try to take out his minions (who are weak to zan), then pummel him with agi (with at least two who can, anyway). Exploiting elemental weaknesses is always key, so there's a reaaon I prefer going mage-nuke.

And you know what I'm sayin', Cary! ;)^

Loving Devil Survivor! I havent hit a wall again after that wendigo. And summoning other demons mid fight made a huge difference. I also started making elements, but I am not at the right level yet to start using them for making new demons.

I feel abit dumb though, through the splicing, I gave magic powers to strength based demons and strength based powers to magical demons. Though one confuses me a lot. Its a big green bear/goat and while his mag meter is super low, all his attacks are magic based. I dont get it.

I'm so glad you're enjoying it, Will!! It only gets better as you go along and see one of many endings - some paths are certainly harder than others.

That's the thing with some of those odd demons - they may not be practical, but they'll almost always make great fusion fodder! Experiment often, and think skills first.

I didn't get attached to any demon until about level 42 -- and even then, that demon fell by the wayside, but at that point, you will have a great variety to choose from, depending on the skill-set you need. There are some demons I kept or powered up simply because of their ability to fly or warp distances (these are especially good for rescue missions).

Keep me posted -- I definitely want to know what your first ending will be, if you replay, and if you have any questions. ;)^

Yeah, I alreayd do that. I get the Waria just so I could move faster and then I switch him out depending on who I am fighting (in my next turn of course).

And holy ****, level 42, wow, I am so low still. I am gonna beef up my magic for now to at least get it to 15.

Sounds like you're getting the hang of it, Will -- with any new skills and demons, knowing is half the battle. ;)

I only recommend focusing on either STR or INT simply to help you focus on ths skills you ultimately want for your character, based on your "role" on the team. But magic is the most over-powered. I prefer the 'dances for attacks as well (especially on bosses).

So you keep your MAG stat low so as to give a bit of a challenge?

Oh, I was mixing up my RPG stats! Sorry about that. :BANG_HEAD:

MAG all the way, Will. I don't dump anything into STR, some into AGI (for evasion and hit-rates), and just a bit into VIT (hardly any, but extra HP is never bad) for a mage-type.

I figure being a glass cannon is enough of a challenge -- especially if you put nothing in VIT. ;)

-Persona5 (PS4)

-MTMTE Volumes 9 & 10

I'm still waiting for Skids to arrive from Asia, as well as MMC's Boreas. :D

I have only heard good things from persona, but alas its not on a console I have.

Been playing lots of devil survivor but I realize I **** up with the elements. I thought I would need them for later so I made a few with low level demons of the same type but thats useless so I will have to start over. Good thing YUZU kicks so much ass that I get extra macca during her fights.

Did you use elements much Bodrock? Any tips for how they work?

No need to start over on account of the elementals, Will. They are a good way to customize higher-level demons if you're looking for specific skill-sets on an eventual fusion evolved several iterations from the original elemental.

To be completely honest, I would fuse elementals readily with another demon if it created a good mix of skills & immunities at the moment, rather than keeping them, since levels also limit how powerful a fusion can be (until you unlock the level caps!). I say keep playing, but plan on playing again for a different ending and a different crew. ;)

yeah Keiseke sucks balls. Dont know if I could have gotten another crew member instead, at least this early on. And what you wrote about the elements is chinese to me, I didnt really understand it. My elements only have low level powers since they were created by fusing two low level demons together so they look pretty useless. Just curious but they cant be put into battle?

As you noticed, Will, the elements are pretty useless on their own -- but through fusion and planning, you can make some specific fusions, depending on you demonic end-goal. I never had that level of dedication or planning, so the elements were always simple fusion-fodder to me.

As I found at GameFAQs: The elements also fuse with each other to form the Mitamas. When a Mitama is fused into your monster, it gains bonus stats dependant on the level of the Mitama. Its pretty cheap, but effective to fuse a few mitamas of a certain stat with the skill "Watchful (75% exp gained if not in a team)" and just leave them aside to soak up goodness, then super charging a monster with a heavy chunk of stats.

My MTMTE volumes aren't coming until tomorrow. :(

But Persona5 arrived!

Intersting but I still dont see how to do it exactly. I dont even know how to give stats to things and I tried fusing elements together but they said the combination was not permitted. So I am bit stumped by this. I even discarded an element since I had no more room for extra demons.

Also Beldr is a real asshole. I was feeling all good about myself for having efficiently beaten a hoard of wendigos and saving some people and then he comes in killing the civilians and me getting a game over. Thanks.

As a new fan of the IDW comic Transformers: More than Meets the Eye (now known as Lost Light), I have to admit I've gotten to love the characters aboard Hot Rod & Megatron's ship.

First off, it's Rodimus.

As an Optimus Prime loyalist, I never would have thought it possible - the writing by James Roberts, however, is fun and compelling.

Caminus in da House

That said, one of my new favorite characters is the brilliant fembot known as Nautica!

Naughty & the Brain

The most accurate thing Hasbro did for her was the "fantasy scene" on the TRU-exclusive Chaos on Velocitron box.
IMG_5454.JPG
Need for SPEED

Still, I enjoy the figure - I only wish they would have gone further to be comic-accurate (especially in the face).

It makes me wonder if we will ever see a 3P incarnation....!

Nautica's face may not be all that accurate to the comic, but looking at your pics, I rather like it.
It's a good femmy face and adheres to a nice classic TF design style.

Here's hoping, Bumblee21! I'd settle for an alternate Titan Master, too. ;)

Agreed, Cobo! Once upon a time, we were lucky if the character's toy incarnation was close, brick-like bodies aside.

But yeah, I wanted to show that she looked feminine - I'm glad you like the pics!
