That guy's Metalhawk is awesome, but of course Botcon if they use the Cyclonus mold will probably just repaint him. Still that is one nice looking robot.

Why is everyone looking at Cyclonus for Metalhawk?! Their jet modes look absolutely nothing alike:
Metalhawk:
and Cyclonus:
And even with remolding, he'd still look like Cyclonus.
Sad, but true. I say "sad" because I don't think the Universe Cyclonus is bulky enough to properly portray Overload. He's a big guy; not just in size, but in stature.RhA wrote:El Duque wrote:Haven't read all ten pages of response, but I'm gonna go with Universe Cyclonus for Metalhawk and Universe Silverbolt for Overlord. Silverbolt could work, he's big, his alt mode is similar to Overlord's jet component, he has chest flaps, and like Overlord he has the forward section of a jet hanging off his body, Silverbolt just carries his on his back rather than his arm. Slap the colors on there and a new head and it could work. The rest of the set I'm not that excited about.
That's the only idea so far that COULD make sense.
Well, TFA The Motor Master was pretty close to Optimus Prime Black Version, who, while not a botCon figure, came out not to long before BotCon 2011.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:To the guys who are hoping for a black SG Tracks: I share your hope, but on second thought it would be a bit unlikely, because Runabout, who uses the retooled Wheeljack mold, is also black.
If he's a former Seeker, he should be black with another color mixed in. Blurr had blue, Goldbug had yellow, Rodimus had purple. Maybe Tracks has red? Shoot, that would make him look even more like Runabout...

Finaly got around to joining the forums. I'm a customizer from the UK. Very interesting that they have made SW from Ironhide. I did this years ago. If Icould work out how to post pics I would. If you want to see this go to http://www.Sector70.com. Select members galleries. Select senseicustoms and its all there to see.
They can give him a remolded head too.bvzxa wrote:Sabrblade wrote:O rly? look at the head in altmode.burning_sirius wrote:Well I say face because remember Cylonus's 'ears' are required to fill in gaps in the fuselage. Cyclonus is pretty much locked into being Cyclonus.

Yes, but Cyclonus' robot mode seems to be the only really good candidate to match Metalhawk's robot mode.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Why is everyone looking at Cyclonus for Metalhawk?! Their jet modes look absolutely nothing alike:

Again, this is Classicverse, not Wing Universe. Wings Universe Metalhawk is dead.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:He still looked like G1 Metalhawk in Wings comics, but with the helmet of his Pretender shell.

Kinda off topic:
Damn RHA you look fine, I hope I see you at Botcon !

But who is that the girl in your avatar and signature ???
Edit: I just saw somebody else asked the same question earlier and you declined to answer. In all truth I thought you were that chick on youtube that raps about Transformers and does reviews. She is hot.
Wreckgar wrote:As I understand it, Cyclonus is gang-molded with Nightstick, and he seems to be the likely candidate for Metalhawk. So what of Nightstick? Well, Action Master Treadshot IS based on a pre-transformer gun-former. That would explain the number of figures I believe...

They can shape the new head to fit into the nosecone slots or even fit around them. Or they can just remold the nosecone slots themselves to accommodate a new head.Tidalwavex wrote:IMHO,I don't think the Classics 2.0 deluxe toy mold will be used for botcon 2011 overlord nor metalhawk.
Because the classics cyclonus toy can't get a newer 100% head sculpt on it. due to the robot ears connecting around the jet nose in jet mode.
IMHO,If botcon 2011 uses the classics cyclonus mold,it can't have a new head. it'll just be a repaint with no remolded parts.

That custom Metalhawk from Cyclonus that was shown here has a new head that fits around the nosecone slots without difficulty.
