Ok this is an epic win in my book. I would love to get my hands on one of these. But I really don't want the autobots. I would like to see a Drench done. I think that was his name(g2 formula 1 decepticon that squirted water.

Currently searching for Cybertron Supreme Starscream & G2 Go-Bots Megatron, Complete at good prices. PM if you can help please.

Yep, definitely going for the G2 'poke you in the eye' look this year. Man it even has the toy accurate head mold.
Makes me feel a little less jealous of those of you who can make it to Botcon!
Actually, I remember just last night I was having a conversation with my brother about 'why they haven't made Breakdown yet' and just as soon as I log on today I see this!

Love it. It's great to see the very first BotCon exclusive revisited.
Now if only they'd give us a Classics Seeker mold in G2 Ramjet colors, G2 Windbreaker from the Cybertron HotShot (/ SG Goldbug) mold, a blue Grimlock, Hooligan from the Energon Starscream mold (to coincide with Hooligan's appearance in last year's BotCon comic), then I'd be one happy Decepticon.

My favorite part on this guy is the license plate that references Botcon, Fort Wayne 94. That is a really cool touch. I can't say I'm real big on this guy by himself. It'd be great if we could get the rest of the Stunticons though. I like complete teams. I don't know what they could use for Menasor so I can't really see it happening, unfortunately.

I absolutely love this figure and am very excited that he will be in the box set. It's interesting to see how much love the Stunticon characters have been getting by way or releases in various TF lines over the last 2 years or so.
It really makes me wonder if we might see the Stunticons in TF3. I'd definitely go for that.

I'm in love w/the highly accurate head sculpt, I've just never been a fan of G2 in any way. The only piece of G2 Merchandise I own is issue #1. I'd love to get a Generations G1 Breakdown.

I'm for the whole color scheme being waaaay too much. The head sculpt it pretty cool but DAMN it all to hell son!! If Hasbro is smart they'll use this head sculpt and mold for a better repaint down the road. I do find those who joke how ugly and sick this figure looks and intend to pick it up and the Inferno repaint up, what ever the hell his name is. Ehh but what the hell do I know 'nuff said!

Re: Botcon 2010 - First Decepticon Revealed
I did always think the names being printed on the sides of the characters was stupid in G2, but am glad they've carried it through to these versions as well. Love that Scramble City combiner limb head that Breakdown is sporting. Hopefully we'll see a G1 coloured version for mass-market release.

Re: Botcon 2010 - First Decepticon Revealed
The head sculpt is AWESOME! I was a bit older when G2 was around and I completely missed it. I only learned about it a few years ago. So, they replayed the same G1 cartoons, but released the same G1 toys with different colors? Pass. I, like some of you, would much rather see breakdown released in G1 colors. Now that would make me drool. I have never been to Botcon, but if G2 is the theme, then I think I will sit this one out as well.

First thing I noticed, too...
I'm actually rather disappointed that I'm not yet able to go to Botcon or get this set. (I'm too broke, and lacking a passport to leave the country with...) So far it looks fantastic and I know that the after-con prices for these are going to be outrageous.

Re: Botcon 2010 - First Decepticon Revealed
TBH I prefer the Botcon exclusives to be somewhat niche characters. G2 certainly fits with that idea. The Seekers debacle seems to have left a bad taste in everyone's mouths, as those who didn't get to complete their set felt hard done by first, then those who did get the Botcon set felt cheated when the same characters were released in Japan, and now the new Thrust has more complaining.
I don't mind variations on classic characters (Shattered Glass, the vehicle mode BW characters, etc) but giving us somewhat definitive versions of classic G1 guys in extremely limited editions is a bit of a slap in the face to those who can't attend or don't have redonculous amounts of spare cash.
I've seen a fair few con exclusives that I'd really like, but I like them not making characters that I'd feel are "needed" for a complete updated G1 cast. I also like when there's a clear theme, which the Games of Deception set didn't really have IMO. A bunch of G2 homages that we'd never be likely to see outside of customs by people who have too much time on their hands? That's great. A bunch of toon-accurate versions of characters we almost all grew up on? Not so much.

As stated above, "breakdown" on the side of the alt mode is going along with G2 aesthetic.
Anyway, I freaking like this. I love the "combiner" head also. I think that is a good touch. Glad they didn't design it differently than it really is.

I actually liked the names on some of the G2 stuff, even though it kinda takes away the "robots in disguise" angle.
I actually like The G2 Optimus trailer better than the G1 version, mainly for that reason.
Glad that you're coming this year!

These figures only serve to remind me that the Generation 2 figures had the random color schemes of test shot prototypes. I've barely seen a Gen 2 original paint scheme that hasn't made my brain hurt.
