I love black repaints, but I am kind of glad they went with this way out there version.

HASBRO still has a chance to do their own exclusive store repaint, or Universe whatever repaint of Artfire. And for fun they could throw in a repaint of Cyclonus TM Nightstick.

Well I think in the right lighting the painted face will look like a face plate but oh man his own Prime like face would have been awesome.

I'm actually surprised G2 used so much of the pinkish red and the purplish blue, not to mention the pink windows. He looks like a big version of my lovingly-glued-back-together G2 Flash.

Eh... I've never really been to botcon. I Wish I could, but they're always too far away to drive, and my whole family hates flying.
Still, if this figure isn't getting a new head mold, I would be disappointed if I actually could go to botcon.
Without his mouth plate, he just doesn't fit the 'wannabe prime' motif he's always had. :-?

Wow this is hot garbage! I'm sorry, but that is one sad excuse for Pryo/Spark! What happened to the origanl color scheme? That blue on the arms should have been darker and the face...the face... I have no problem with the mold being used, but surely they could have painted or used better colored plastics then that!

It's been over a week since FP first put up their pic of Pyro's alt mode.

Since then, no pics of his bot mode or of other characters.

They snooze, they lose. I think this is the first time we've had broken the Botcon Theme and first toy in it's completeness before they do.

You can order a non attendee set from the club itself. It'll be cheaper. Whenever that form goes up though...

I'm bummed this doesn't at least have an Optimus Prime head put on this mold. Hopefully whoever they're saving the new head molds for will be a better choice than Pyro, though I can't imagine why you'd waste the opportunity on a Voyager class figure.

He actually looks pretty cool. I was disappointed when I first heard about the G2 theme, but now I feel a little better. I'll be buying him regardless since I live about an hour away from this year's Botcon.

Yes. The non-atendee set is the basic box set. None of the Bagged Figs. It has a certificate.

Oh man, the colors! A fitting choice for the mold I suppose, but that is glaringly painful to look at. Hope they pick some other characters with a bit less outlandish paint schemes

... Oh wait, G2 theme.

If they want to do G2, give us a Hooligan and Space Case to go with Skyjack! Or the laser cycles or something.

I thought this color looked pretty crappy also but then I looked at the original figure and this version actually looks descent as long as the pink isn't so bright. Off the subject I went to the TFCC club forums and alot of people have been asking for a Jhiaxus figure. What does the Gen. 2 Jhiaxus look like?

I still have nothing great to say here. I'm surprised at just how much deco he has. He's got quite a bit more than Botcon figures tend to get. Either that or it's spaced well enough that it just seems that way. He'll have a place in my Classics collection though. Despite the opinions of the OGs.
