With this being set in Axiom Nexus, virtually anything is possible (within reason, that is).Wolfman Jake wrote:Just for fun, any wild speculation about the add-on souvenir sets for 2015? They don't always follow the exact theme of the box set, often including additions to past years' themes. For instance, I would love to see a G2-colored repaint of Generations Jhiaxus.

I don't know which ones they were since the slide went by too fast for me to note which ones they were. And I was sitting too far away from the screen to fully tell.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Back at the BotCon Retropsective panel at BotCon 2014, there were images of 20 unreleased proposals for BotCon/TCC exclusives that never came to be. Bido (Rhinoceros Beetle) and Magi (Praying Mantis), maybe Zori (Scorpion) and Ida (Spider), or even Dobo (Dragonfly)?

I always assumed it had to do with their ability to only alter one aspect of each mold. Like, remolding a head or a wing or some other piece is one thing, but making a brand new accessory mold might be out of their league. That they can include some new accessories like Arms Microns or Scorponok's G1 Spike molded head is likely due to those molds already existing.Seibertron wrote:Rated X wrote:Of course this means flywheels will be the blitzwing mold and he will be a convention exclusive to make you spend more money. I've often wondered why they don't provide new accessories on some occasions. It would go a long ways toward selling some of these figures.

Another clue to the next reveals... and it would exclude that little blue guy we saw earlier. Back to the drawing board
I did some looking into BotCon 1996 for the Bounty Hunter, and... I can tell it wasn't a very good convention to say the least (thank you, Men in Black). Anyway, Pulp Fiction theme, Onyx Primal, G2 Greasepit, Double Pretenders, what else do we have that's unique to that convention?
Sabrblade wrote:Notice that the toy reveals have thus far been in the same order as on the BotCon 2015 website. First was the thief, now the muscle. If this keeps up, we'll see next the Loose Cannon, then the Boss, and last the Bounty Hunter.
