actoys.net has provided fans with a full gallery of pictures for the upcoming Evil Hot Rod figure from the 2008 BotCon set.

Despite initial grumblings about the selection of characters and even the idea behind the decos...this year's set is shaping up to look quite nice (Read: will likely be expensive down the road...).

I love the deco, it all fits perfectly together, this and the Prime will look awesome together in a shelf.

Yes but applied to the inside of his lip!

I guess it was easier that way, I mean why make a completly new head just to ad facial hair, and since the inside of the lip is molded on it's easier for the paint app guy to place the brush.

The rest of the set I could take or leave, but I'll definitely be hunting this one down. That alt mode color scheme is sweet on wheels.

Is it just me or does this entire Mirror Universe thing seem kind of pointless with only one Heroic Decepticon? I mean, in the "real" universe, the Autobots are often outnumbered, but never this badly.

Predacons- 3 small deceps
Megatron, Starscream - 2 very large deceps...

So not just one by any means, the 2 most dangerous/courageous now I suppose/ Decepticons...

Drench and his Minicon should round that group out and would make the total Decepticons = 7. (Which is what BotCon Pete told us there would be)

I love the color scheme, but I can't help but fell like that the robot mode is a square box with a head and limbs attached to it. Perhaps I will just keep him in car mode....

Let's just say I support my hobby nicely enough with some free lance work. Tax return season was good to my family this year as well...

I fully realize that I could be staring at a $75-$100 figure after Botcon, but there's no way I'll get anywhere NEAR the $250+ mark for anything like that.

Megatron was not announced at this point. And, Minicons? Why not count their weapons as Decepticons as well?

Fine. You get credit for them, but only to the same value as a G1 cassette. And I think that's pretty generous. So, 2 Decepticons take their 3 "cassettes" out for a stroll and encounter 8 evil Autobots. Still not seeing the even.

Plop them up together on a dedicated "Shattered" shelf and see what sort of balance you get.
