Jazz looks great except for the "angry eyebows" above the headlights. He will probably be my Classics Jazz until the release a Jazz in Universe.

I'd like to see more purple on Grimlock. He just seems kind of dull with all that grey. Other than that, he's quite nice. All that's left now is the minicon Razorclaw, the official pics of Starscream, and whatever attendee figures there are, like Megatron.

The only thing that looks good on Jazz (to me) is the head sculpt.
I was never a fan of that body style because the chest is too out of proportion.

As I said before, I am glad I am not worried about getting this set.

not impressed never really liked the Cybertron Crosswise mold and I dont like those colors on Grimlock

Agreed. This Jazz looks very good, but it didn't fit too well with Smokescreen. The head and general design just didn't match the character. I was expecting more(I have a small collection of Smokescreen figures going), but it's kind of pushed aside with the other TFs I'm not all that eager to display.

The Grimlock, as most people have stated, is rather "meh", but I think it just goes to show you how average that figure is in the 1st place. But I do like the Classics Grimlock better than this.

I like them both. I wish they would have done something different with jazz though. 3 versions of the same car crosswise, smokescreen and jazz. All in all though they look pretty cool.

I'm mostly enjoying the puns with all of these. "Massacre Racing." *giggle* As for Grimlock.... he's staying in is alt mode the entire time. I find the T-Rex mode to be quite entertaining.

Well, maybe at Easter time he can come out in his robot mode. The pastels will look quite nice with the rest of the decour. :roll:

I'd pass on Jazz, but I LOVE Tryptilock. Cover the Bot logos with Con logos, and Trypticon gets a nice modern figure. Shame he's not a general release.

This is a set full of interesting figures at this point.

It's good thus far, the Convention exclusives are going to be the tipping point as to if this becomes a great set.

This set will be rare as hell and will fetch crazy secondary market prices. Bet on it.

Jazz looks better of the two but I think I will pass on these figures. If I found them on the secondary market, I would not be able to afford them.

Pretty "meh" to me.
They look good for what they ARE but they aren't terribly appealing overall. I think I'm much more looking forward to seeing the "good guy" Decepticons...

As a fan I appreciates the effort that has been put into this set. But it doesn't have the absolute must have factor that the Games of Deception set had. I'm glad I picked up last years Botcon set and I'm glad I'm passing on this years' set. B-)

I have to admitted you are right... this year's toys are not as 2007 at all, just because of Jazz, that changes the whole story, for some people like me, even when Cybertron Crosswise was a cool car, I feel he did not have the style that now I can see on Botcon Jazz :APPLAUSE:

The autobots are the bad guys remember, so they have a purple autobot symbol and the cons have a red decepticon symbol because they are the good guys.

From what we have seen so far I think I like Goldbug the best, Followed by Jazz. Grimlock is nice too but he will stay in Beast mode just like his Classics version.
