Nah, don't worry about it. Decade does look kinda funny, I should have looked up the number of years before I posted that. I think my issue with G2 really might stem from the lack of fiction or their true place in the TF timeline. If they could have explained the bizarre colors then maybe I could accept it a bit better. The G2 comic was just a continuation of G1, but if I remember right, Furman continued to use the characters in their G1 colors for the most part, so that's of little help. I dunno, tell us they're from the Killing Jar dimension or something, anything!

I use to love the G2 coloring as a kid. Even GI Joe had a neon color scheme at the time.

Only as an adult I realized how horrible they are :lol:

I think the theme is great for nostalgia.

I think the Inferno mold fits Pyro well!

I wonder if we'll get to see his bot-mode soon... hoping that he has an Optimus Prime-like head resculpt.

I suppose i'm gonna be the only asshole here that points out Pyro is his "G1" name (he kinda came out in Europe in between 1 and 2) and in the G2 line he was called Spark...

I never said it was Pyro.. just that it looked like Pyro.. but yes, it is 'Spark'. Guess I'll change the post since if you were confused then that means everyone else is too.

Sorry. I don't mean to be a dick. Pyro's a better name, but it's doubtful he'll get called that. Not if they're staying true to the G2 theme.

This is so blindingly awesome I can't stand it. Something that the mainstream market wouldn't want, but is great for a collector like me. I think this could be one of my more favored botcon sets...depending on the rest of the toys.

Nope, Prime, Megatron, and Sideswipe were all depicted with their G2 color schemes. Not sure about Ramjet, if he even made an appearance. All the original-to-G2 characters were also drawn to match their figures. The Dinobots were shown in their original colors, however, as opposed to blue Grimlock, green Slag, red Snarl, etc.

Hmmm, on that note, a blue Grimlock from the Classics mold would be really fun.

Damn this one is more dissappointing than the last...

And besides the aweful colors, since last year the set was all autobots (I think) shouldnt this year be all decepticons ???

We've seen character #2 out of like 12. And Botcon 2009 had an even number of Decepticons and Autobots, if you count the Sweeps as individuals then there's actually more Decepticons than Autobots.

My God. Looks like the backgrounds that were used behind Max Headroom. Neon colors are definitely things that need to stay in the 80's time capsule. Are they going to make the next figure acid washed?

If they revisit G2 and don't make a shiny reflective BB and CJ along with a black Sideswipe this botcon set will so be a "fa-fa-fa-fail".
