The waist and legs looked faded blue/purple to me. Maybe I'm color blind.Sabrblade wrote:Where? That's the picture I was talking about yesterdayKurona wrote:
Case closed. The blue one is just Rumble trying out his unbearably bad Reflector cosplay.

But he is. Whatever.
SKYFIRE FOREVER!!Kurona wrote:Eh, there's a lot of people who grew up with just the G1 cartoon and maybe the toys without really looking at the names. Or even forgetting the names and just assigning them what names appeared on the show. So it's easy to see why they see the blue one as Rumble cos that's the character they grew up with. No different from Jetfire/Skyfire, really.

And that brought me to an interesting thought. It's not about which one is red and which one is blue, it's all about what medium has ultimate authority: the toy line, or the cartoon. Unfortunately, that is all a matter of opinion...

You're right, I hadn't made that connection.

Jetfire VS Skyfire
GO!
Kurona wrote:I like to call him Skyfire just to differentiate from the two other guys called Jetfire - Unicron Trilogy and Animated - who are decidedly not just new versions of G1 Jetfire like Animated Ratchet is a new version of G1 Ratchet; but are just using the name like Movie Bonecrusher is just using the name of G1 Bonecrusher and nothing else.
So that's fun.
