OK, so anyone who hasn't yet already, take a good long look at the wikipedia featured article for 1/13/09.

Now then, for those who have looked or already know, they (name ommitted due to rules one and two) are raging like I have never seen before. This violates their first two, most sacred rules, which has them up in arms.

So my question to you is, do you think that this will get ugly, or will just blow over? Some pages on wikipedia have already been vandalized out of wrath. Is this a serious threat?

4chan is the featured article on Wikipedia for today (14th January).
4chan's userbase does not like Wikipedia.
4chan's users make a point of invading other sites from time to time.
Don't rely on Wikipedia being of any use to you today.

Rules One and Two only apply during raids.

Also, 4Chan has accomplished very little of much use so I don't think we owe them the favour of adhering to those rules.

And so what? Everybody knows abut 4Chan. And nobody cares either way.

It's just a big site with a bunch of people who have a bunch of in-jokes.

In-jokes that we're all pretty much aware of anyway.

And they made it to the Wiki front page. Big deal. They're just gonna bitch and whine about it then forget about it and find something else to be mad about.

Eh /toy/ is normally a nice place. Nostalgia, new info on stuff I shouldn't be buying from toy lines I have no idea about. Good times. The entire site gets a bad rap, but honestly most people and sections there are relatively normal. It's just that one section tends to bleed over and taint the others.
