Got mine today.

I particularly like these things:

-Swindle is marked with an 'S' on his helicopter mode...only it's an '$'
-Onlaught is marked with the designation ON-
slt
which is hilarious...'on slut' oh Hasbro...
-Brawl has his name written on himself...backwards.

Since I never had the Superlink Gifset, and I sold all five parts from Energon on Ebay years ago (never opened them), do they have anything on them similar markings? I'm about to open mine now.

Got mine today also. So are there any good fan configurations for the limbs? At first I had the tanks as arms, because I liked the shoulder cannons and unpegging the treads allows for an elbow of sorts. I didn't like having the helicopters as legs though, seemed a little unstable. Now I've switched it up and have the helicopters as arms, whick looks good and they have cooler hands, but no good way to get an elbow.

And I agree with Ryan, TF has been flooding the market, compared to Joe. I've only seen the Joe line they released when the movie came out a month ago. RoTF came out 10 weeks ago and as the bossman said, we're already on wave 6!

Just picked mine up as well. There was a whole endcap of them. I do have to say though that I don't particularly like the colors/lack of colors on Bruticus' head. I'm thinking about swapping him out for the Energon version.

Got mine today, it was the only one that I saw in the store. I'm almost shocked how much I like him. I was originally gonna pass but once I saw him in store compulsion kicked in and it was all over. Now I'm really glad it did. I particularly like the color scheme. It just feels right. The names on the individual figures that CP mentioned are also very cool. If he just had some damn elbows for the helicopters I wouldn't have a complaint with him.

Impulsively bought mine after seeing it on the shelves earlier this afternoon. Looked case fresh.

Haven't opened it, but I'm looking forward to finding the things CP mentioned :grin:

Got one on ebay that even after shipping and the US/CDN exchange rate, it's cheaper than it would be in Canada + Taxes.

So I took my Bruticus Maximus out of the package today and its easily one of my faves already.

Man this figure is AWESOME!!! Damn this guy is so cool to me I feel compelled to track down the Energon version just to have it in different colors.

And the hands and feet look really good as opposed to Classics Devastators limb add ons.

I love it. I may have to get another.

Got mine the other day, but was diappointed with one thing - my Vortex's combiner port is incredibly loose, it just flops around. So my Bruticus will either have a gimpy leg, or a dislocated shoulder. Gonna open it up later and see if I can tighten it up.

I got this guy on Saturday. I like this one so much better than the Superion combiner. He looks much more intimidating and can actually stand up on his own.

The folks at my local Target were kind enough to go to the stockroom and bring out a fresh case on two occasions! Finally, found it.

I saw one on Monday, but the condition of the box was not great, the ones in the the case they brought out were not great either.

I went back last night, none were on shelf. Same Target store, I approached another guy and they brought down another case, I picked two out of the better boxes from the case.

Maybe I'll give one to my nephew!

The more I look at the RotF Bruticus paint scheme, the more I like it. The few fanmodes I've seen of it look great!.

No, not at all. Its actually a repaint of Energon Bruticus Maximus, in more believable colors though.

Check out the galley of EBM here.

These combiners are so much better than the stiff, non poseable G1 versions. I think you'd like it.

Finally found and bought mine today, gotta say I really enjoy this figure more than ROTF Superion.

I like Superion M but as many others have said, it does seem to be the weakest design of the Energon combiners. I especially do not like the hollow nature of Silverbolt when he's the torso.

Bruticus M just seems to be a more solid figure and in my eyes, wouldn't seem to benefit from something like the Aerial Team Appendage Kit as much as Superion. Constructicon Maximus/Classics Devastator looks pretty cool as a standalone figure as well.

For sure, but one can still get by w/o the purchase of the kit for ROTF Superion. Classics Devastator is a great figure, though it's still werid to look at his new design as Devastator imo.
