Whilst browsing 3rd party and KO specialist website Chimungmung I came across this little beauty.
It appears Headrobots upgrade for the Revenge of the Fallen 'Bludgeon' figure has been knocked off and will be available via the usual suspects.
I have just ordered one via Tony @ Chimungmung so as soon as it arrives I will update on quality etc.

Almost the same price as the original... why?

I hope some more pop up i really wanted the red red alert head and cliffjumper upgrade sets, but i'd want them at decent price if they were to be ko .

Seems like a waste to KO something that is still available in online stores. I would rather see somebody KO that Nanobot upgrade set for universe Roadbuster.

Well, less than two weeks later and my Headrobots - Blood The Dark Warrior KO upgrade set for ROTF Voyager Bludgeon has arrived!

I do not have the original so any comments are from what I see!

First of all, Thank you Tony @ Chimungmung for such a speedy, well communicated and friendly service. The set was really well packaged as usual, in a comfortably sized box, tied and taped, arriving in excellent condition.

The clear plastic clam shell design is strong, not flimsy, but no tape or sticker sealing it so the product inside could have come a cropper if they had rattled free during shipping possibly falling out? That did not happen luckily!

Long day tomorrow so i will continue with QC review and more pics!

Wooh! This is spot on! Tip top!

The quality is excellent, just cannot fault this as a KO what so ever.
Chrome apps on the sword and dagger are shiny and solid, not blotchy or smudged, no finger prints or scuffs!

The build is good, not flimsy (in comparison to the sword that comes with). I was worried about the chrome when it came to sliding it down the barrel but all is fine.

Weapons aside, the main draw for this KO is of course the new head sculpt, and what a delight it is too!
A very solid mold which offers two different faces, one more skeletal, one more robotic. Both faces are attached to the same head, its just a case of popping one out and spinning it around and pushing it back into the helmet.
The helmet is really nice, very detailed and a great representation along with the skull face for a Classic look to your Bludgeon. Very nice!

Attaching the new head to the body is pretty simple, just a matter of popping a couple of screws out and clipping the new one straight on! No problems there. The head holds on pretty well too.

In tank mode, the weapons tuck away all nice and firm without any marks or scratches on the chrome and the head swap does not hinder transformation.

I have to say, Bludgeon looks sweet with his new kit, very fetching!

I would definately recommend anyone looking to upgrade their plain looking ROTF Bludgeon to take a pop on this set, you wont be disapointed!

Any stockists that do still have the official Headrobots release, of which there are little (?) had them listed around $20 before shipping.
The current listing over at Chimungmung has the KO at $16 before shipping which saves you a couple of pennies (but not many)!

To get an original over here in the U.K. would possibly cost around £25-£30 delivered, so I am more than happy with my KO for £17 delivered!
