In all this talk of copyright, everyone is forgetting who the original copyright thieves are - FansProject themselves. The design of Ultra Magnus belongs to Hasbro, and FP are using it without permission.

The fact that FP themselves are being copied... well, that's just karma, isn't it?

They are not infringing on copyrights. They are using Ultra Magnus as a means to create the trailer. Now if they were to do a KO of Magnus or Prime themselves thats different.

Regarding the appearance of City Commander, he looks close enough to the original Ultra Magnus for my taste. The head mold is wierd looking, the missile launchers are missing but that can be fixed w/ original launchers.

Hi Im new here and I want to say that this KO version of FP shadow commander does not make me happy. I almost went to buy one of these from toys-models but didn't thinking that there was something wrong with the price. Now I know I was right. I still dont have a Shadow Commander upgrade set but I am still looking and I came across a seller superstoresasiacom and they are selling the set at a plausible price. I have seen their pictures and they claim that they have genuine product. I hope that someone has bought a set from these guys or that they can check this out. I really dont want to buy a KO of the shadow commander set so I am hoping that someone here can give some advice on what to do.

Never F' around with quality or service. BBTS won't steer you wrong.

I got Shadow and City Commander from BBTS. The $90 price tag isn't that bad knowing that it's the retail value. You can also take comfort in knowing you're getting a legit piece.

Also, in the higly unlikely event that you do get a KO, BBTS will refund or replace at no penalty to you. They will take care of you.

Just found this topic, and I'm wondering are these Knock-off's still out there? And do they cost anywhere near what the FP version costs?

Would absolutely love to head to Big Lots this holiday season and find a bootleg like this for $15...ROFL.

Could NEVER afford the FP version, so this would be absolutely awesome if it were out there in a bootleg version for cheap.

I'm sure the KO's are still available, though I'm not sure where. I doubt you'll ever see them at discount stores. I believe these KO's are almost as expensive as the real deal.
