Here's my take..

This toraton wasn't based on Megatron.. I drew this before knowledge of said character-match..
But yeah - this looks more like an Ironhide or Rhinox design.
The "movie" head designs were drawn for consideration towards that style for this series.
Where Beast Machines had their own style - we can take this series into a whole new style as well!

This is more of a Megatron design - complete with G1 helmet and arm cannon.
Yes, I do understand that this is supposed to be BW Megs - but it's always nice to have some homage..!
I even tried to add the Galvatron shoulder-pads (from the beast's front legs).. they can be shoulder cannons..?

These are some ideas I had in mind for the characters.. Apologies if I scared any of you with the BA head design..

Don't like the bot design much - a little too generic..

I was just thinking right now to add more tentacles - it'll make him look more like a devourer..!

Nice design - I really didn't know where to go with Uni's head design.. It seems your getting onto a great start!

The color schemes look good, too..! I just got some ideas for color schemes after seeing them - thanks!

B'Boom looks cool, too - curious as to see how he transforms..? Is his transformation based on anyone?

I see that Cheetor is based off of LioConvoy - very cool!! I've always enjoyed his transformation - simple yet cool.. those huge furry shoulders make him look bigger than normal - almost like a football player!

I can see the two influences very well.. very good concept idea. Keep working at it - add more lines to give him that much more character..
I'm starting to see a little Jetstorm in him now..!

After seeing Billys, "Old timer Ratrap" & company, plus the whole "REturn of Primal" image I thought up this: (mind you I dont right this just kinda popped in my head while at work today..

TechnOrganic Cybertron, Amist an Aging Peace, a decaying Transformer society, Long ago are the days of Meglomania and Chivalry. Cheetor one a Prim, now far from it, Reduced to a commity chair, Preaching the ideals of Primal and the Oracle. RaTrap, nothing then an aging "hero, " spouting off this and that of the "old days." Black Arachnia long missing, since the Silverbolts apparent death. Transformers are now a "hermit race," Since long ago, they relized technOrganics' didnt lend itself well to "robots in DISGUISE".
Their last great achivment, the "Spark-Tracker" a devise which registers the WHEN and Where a Spark is in universe past, present, and future..
Then one day, HOPE! An unlikely and surprising set of Sparks appered, in the most unlikly of places, Future Earth. Long gone are Humanity, but the remaining life forms still present are more aware of their world, then Humans EVER where. These Sparks dont quite register right? One seems like that of Optimus PrimAL, but with soem PRIME qualities about it. The other his opisite, his yang, Megatron.. But with some distinct shades of Galvatron throughout. So "re-energized" with this discovery Cybertron springs back to life, So Cheetor and some "old friends" and new offer to go, with some old "upgrades." Since going TechnOrganic the technology behind "Beast modes" has been perfected Dubbed "auto-morph", but having never tested due to present Cybertron. So with almost everyone on Cybertron clamering toward Future earth, So begins The BEAST WARS, FUTURE(shock?)!! (we need a better name for this concept)

Thoughts, yes I know its sucks but its a idea..

I have a Prologue for BW Future:

"It has 200 million years since the last war between Maximals and Predacons, both races lived in peace, but today, the Predacons decided to break this times of peace and hope..."

Rattrap: Oh Man!, we got five Citadels of Cybertron destroyed.
Optimus Primal: Who is attacking us now.
Cheetor: I don't know, but whoever it is, it has a lot of firepower.
Airrazor: We recieved an image from the Citadel before the attacks.
Optimus Primal: What do you discovered, Airrazor?
Airrazor: Looks like five Predacons who has something to protest.
Rattrap: I knew it!, this guys can't live in peace
Optimus Primal: Can't be Rattrap, we lived 200 Million Cycles* in peace, whoever they are i'll stop them.
Rattrap: How, saying prayers?
Airrazor & Cheetor: SHUT UP RATTRAP!

Meanwhile in Citadel "Kynrol-1"...

Tidal Wave: The Operation Proceeds as planned, we're on the move now to Kynrol-2
Megatron: Fine, we need to show to the Maximals that one shall stand and one shall fall, yes.
Optimus Primal: MEGATRON!!!
Megatron: Aaah, it's you Optimus Primal.
Optimus Primal: Why we are starting this meaningless war again, when we can have the chance for live in Peace.
Megatron: Ah, Primal, if you don't know, we Predacons can't live forever in peace, no. For your knowledge we pass through "Ages", one of peace and one of war, yes. and i think this age of peace is coming to an end, and a new age of war is commencing again.
