Blah, the surfer monkey Prime I've found warming the shelves at the TRU in Oceanside, off El Camino Real. The purple tank sounds like it could be Cybertron Megatron.
Do you have any idea if they were going for retail price, or were actually clearance priced?

Took a trip to a Walmart earlier. The Transformers shelves were filled to the brim with figures. It was like taking a trip back in time about 9 months. They have several Alternators (Skids, Sunstreaker, Rollbar, Ricochet). About 15 to 20 20th anniversary Primes, several miscellaneous Classics delux(Rodimus, Cliffjumper, Mirage, Ramjet), numerous Jetfires and Primes, and plenty of the later Cybertron figures, including over 10 Primus figures. Plus they did have a restock of Movie voyager figures from the first two waves (all of them except Blackout). If you missed any of these figures, now might be a time to get them, I'll be getting a second Jetfire and Classics Prime myself. Still no sign of any movie delux figures though.
Which Wal Mart is this? I've been scouring North County, but nothing. I know of the Wal Mart on Claremont Mesa and I think one down in Chula (that's a helluva drive from Carlsbad).
Here's what I found as of last Friday: The WalMart by the 78 and Jefferson has some deluxe classic Mirages and maybe 6 0r 7 voyager classic primes (19.00). They're on the far west wall in the clearance isle. Not near the TF movie toys.
The WalMart off of Sycamore and 78 had a metroplex in a beat to hell box for $40. It was up on the top of a shelf far from their regular transformers. I noticed they had more movie toys than other places, like a big starscream, but didn't pay too much attention as I'm not too keen on the movie stuff. I don't know what might remain after this weekend.
