Already have him. Hope that Walmart is sitting on some unreleased ones like what happened with Inferno? Maybe Wreck Gar and Shockwave? =P~

The unreleased Universe Voyager Inferno that was on Walmart shelves for $10 was what I was referring to. Hitting Wallie World tomorrow at lunch! HAPPY HUNTING Y'ALL!

Hope they restock for others that want them. kirbenvost I feel for you. LMK if you are desperate for me to pick one up and ship it to you from Toronto. Total cost will be approx $75 CAD though.

So I went down to walmart today for the Universe and Animated Voyagers for $10 sale. I found out 2 things:

1) Limit 2 per customer.
2) Even though the flyer says so, Animated Voyagers are NOT on sale and scan at regular price. Though after 1 hour of waiting and speaking to 3 bluevests, a redvest, a manager, and a customer service rep, I managed to get Animated Grimlock for $10.

If you wanted an Animated Voyager for $10, I suggest bringing a flyer, manning up/strapping on a pair, and get ready to wait.

You had bigger nads than I then as I scanned the Grimlock and saw it come up at $29.92 and walked away to get my Insecticons and Perceptor from TRU. Will go back tomorrow. Limit of 2 you say? That is new as there was no limit the last time these sales were on.

Yikes... Yeah, I guess... $50+tax+shipping=$75. :( Well, I'm not that desperate yet, but thanks. Glad you got yours though! I can't believe they stock so little of these things, which are in such demand, and then they have craploads of the Masters of Metallikato packs for months on end. Augh, so frustrating.

Speaking of which, I went by this morning on the off chance that they'd have more Perceptors (of course not), and I did get the 2-pack, but I guess us British Columbians get stiffed an extra $5, cuz it was $34.99. Could be the 'Vancouver Premium'. Oh well, still cheaper than if they were sold separately at regular price.

And it just occured to me that I completely forgot to check the Micro Buggies. #-o Looks like I'm going to TRU again after work.

Good news/Bad news time. Good news? I found Jolt and the Ice Cream Twins. Bad news? I found them at Metropolis, meaning I spent at least $10 more of them than I would have liked.

Ah, well. At least I have them, now.

Dang, well at least you got them. What do you think of Jolt? He's a surprise hit for me. The Hasbro stock photos did not make him look good at all, but after seeing the one Metropolis has on display with mistransformations, I decided to get him and I like him a lot. Probably one of the top deluxes from the line.

Really? I actually think he's the worst figure I own. I mean, the other figures I own are pretty complex in their transformations, and it takes you a while to figure it out. However, Jolt's transformation has the complexity of a post-Animated movie figure. Basically, all you so is pull the hood down, pull the arms out, seperate the legs and fold out the feet. Add to that little real articulation in his robot mode (especially no head articulation), and I have to ask myself, "I paid $27 for this?"

lol, I guess we have very different opinions. I actually found the articulation to be quite good, aside from the head and knees. The head SHOULD turn, but is obstructed by that big grey piece. It wouldn't have taken much to design that better so he could actually move his head. His knees seem to have a swivel joint that is completely useless, but his knees actually bend much further than the Hasbro stock photos would lead you to believe. His arms have good articulation, although his hands don't swivel. At least he has hands. They did give him a waist joint, which is something not all figures are graced with. But you do have a point, the articulatin could be better, but it was certainly better than I expected it to be.

I did think the transformation was fairly simple, but it was interesting enough, and to me they don't necessarily have to be complex to be fun. After I rearranged the backpack kibble to my liking and gave his toes a 180 degree turn, he's one of the coolest looking figures IMO. I know some people don't do mistransformations, but it works for me.

But aesthetics are one of the more important factors to me, and everyone has different requirements for what makes a good figure, so I could see how the cons could outweigh the pros for you.

Dang...probably, yeah. XD

If you guys spot any of the new Universe Ultras at Walmart, let me know, I want me a red Powerglide!

Seems like Hasbro's really stepping up the new releases as of late, especially all the exclusives. I hope I have better luck with the Walmart ones than Perceptor.

Sorry for the double post but this is somewhat important:

It was both a journey and an ordeal, but I finally got myself a Reissue Perceptor! :D I joined up on Cybertron.ca the other day for the sightings, and someone mentioned they'd noticed one of each reissue at Lougheed TRU...3 days ago. :?

Today I was going to go to Metro but decided to take my chances at Lougheed instead. I should've been more careful about my directions, but I assumed it was at Lougheed Town Centre... so an hour or so and 1 ROTF Swerve later (tons of them at the Walmart, plus a few Blazemasters and Arcees, but nothing much else), I was lost in Coquitlam. Thankfully I found the nearest bus back to the Skytrain, but decided to give it one more shot and took the bus back out.

With the TRU in sight, I jumped on my longboard, happy that things had worked out in the end... and promptly ran straight into a raised edge of a sidewalk block, throwing me from the board. Thankfully I only got some road rash and a few bruises, but damn. And my board almost got ran over by 3 cars. Thank god they steered around it. That would not have been worth it... had I not found 2 Perceptors and 2 Insecticons in plain sight on the shelves of TRU Lougheed!!

So I arrived home bruised and late to a mildly upset girlfriend, but at least I got my Perceptor. And she's not mad at me anymore either.

Oh, and there's still 1 Perceptor and both Insecticons left if anyone's still looking.

Longs for the days of G1 where we only had to worry about Megatron, Soundwave and Laserbeak wanting to be Autobots, Swoop calling himself Tracks and Slingshot calling himself Slingslot!
