Such vile creatures that they are...

ROTF Devastator - $89.97
ROTF Leaders - $49.97
ROTF HAs - $39.97 (maybe you can price match @ Bestbuy for their HAs if the have any more)
ROTF Gathering @ Nemesis - $64.97 (I wouldn't want it for half that)
ROTF FABs - $11.97
Other ROTF sales items not worth mentioning.
Cybertron.ca wrote:Brentwood Zellers has RotF Bruiticus Maximus. 5 left at about 3pm ($49.99).

Of note:
- 2 MP Skywarps (high up, opposite the BB helmet display in the back)
- all available deluxes (including IC twins)
Cybertron.ca wrote:Guilford Walmart today around 5:30pm - they still had 6 MP Skywarps. On the front facing endcap display, not the regular aisle.

I was lucky enough to score a $10 one at Bowmac/Broadway, so I did a little toy shopping. Nothing really new there for Transformers, but I did manage to grab an RC Helicopter I've been eyeing for months now. $10 off from being on sale, another $10 from the gift card... Can't beat getting a $50 toy for $30!

AHA! That's my man! Enjoy the chopper. Which did you get? The Twin Thunder? I love the Twin Thunder. It's so bad. [Obligatory The Wizard reference]
kirbenvost wrote:I actually haven't seen the Twin Thunder anywhere around here, aside from that empty box at Zellers. It wasn't the one I wanted to start with anyway. I got the red Havoc Turbo Blast, it's actually really cool. Looks like a real heli and does everything but fly backwards, which is cool with me, I get about 10 minutes of play out of a charge. Took me a few goes to get the hang of it, but dang is it fun! It's really sturdy too, made of bouncy plastic kind of similar to a ping pong ball, instead of that styrofoam crap the regular Havocs are made of. Comes in real handy when I'm watching my girlfriend bounce it off the wall. And the ceiling. And my MP Megatron.

Great find, by the way, congrats!
1337W422102 wrote:Excellent choice of a starter chopper. You'll get a lot of fun out of them. Just be careful where you fly! I usually move aside the living room table and fly away from the TV. Turn off fans and air conditioners as the wind WILL mess up the tiny copter. Avoid ceilings as the spinning rotors tend to pull the copters towards the ceiling. Be gentle with the sticks, as you will probably never have to push them to their maximum - just a little bit of rotation or thrust is enough, usually. And when you fly close to obstacles, rather than have the rotors spin and touch the objects, just ditch. Choke the engine and let the bird fall, as she will survive. Don't be afraid to ditch often - it'll help when you're learning!
Best of luck, and have fun making the living room airspace your bitch.
kirbenvost wrote:lol, well I imagine the styrofoam stuff is not so bad, I just have a lot more peace of mind knowing I have a heli made of plastic, not the same material as old school coffee cups (haha, I know, I know, it's way stronger than that).
Thanks for the tips! I've learned to ditch often for sure. I need to pass on the tips to my girlfriend. She likes tends to keep going near obstacles, including my fingers when I'm trying to pick the damn thing up from the last crash. XD I had a hard time getting it off the ground at first, and I was worried it was the wind from the crack under my apartment door.Turns out I was being TOO cautious and not giving it enough power, so it was just spinning on the ground. Adjusting the trim helped a lot with that too, lol. Now I just hope these things don't get as addictive as the cars. I think I can live with just one micro heli...for now. XD
Oh, and luckily it's not as noisy as I expected. It's more like an electric shaver than a drill...so hopefully I can fly it during daylight hours without driving my neighbors insane.

kirbenvost wrote:Went to Metro over the weekend, wasn't really anything new aside from some Human Alliance Skids. Looks smaller than I expected, but I'm not collecting HAs anyway.
kirbenvost wrote:Metropolis had ROTF Thrust so I finally broke down and got him. I got tired of waiting for him to show up at TRU so I didn't mind spending a few bucks extra.
