Yup. We have a big-ass one in my hometown. Which, ironically enough, it's convenient to get to in this town as it's between two highways and public transit blows.

That is strange, it's the other way around here. We have a TRU at most big malls, but the Walmarts are all pretty out of the way for people without cars at least. The anti-big-box-retailer elitist snobs let TRU in, but they won't let Walmart. :roll:

They argue they're protecting small businesses, but they've let practically every other big corporation set up shop, so what's one more?

Well, salemart needs all that empty lot space to expand and conquer, like some kind of cancerous lesion.

I'll be heading out next week, so I'll do some scouting then. Not getting my hopes up for anything.

I was at the TRU in Coquitlam today and asked if they had anything in the computers seeing the A-Team stuff has already released in the States. The Girl searched for a couple minutes and couldn't find a thing.

I sent the company making them a message and the reply was to check with the company distributing teir stuff up here. I'm waiting for their reply.

TF wise, nothing new, nothing special of note.

I think the best bet would be to buy them from collector shops that carry them (like Legends Action Figures in Montreal) or to have friends in the States hook you up. Just make sure they get you ones that are decently painted!

Yhea, I have a feeling that I'm going to have to ask a friend who does US runs to keep an eye open for me so I can get the Van. (still not worried about the figures unless somebody confirms for me that their heads can fit 25th/ROC figures.) But still hopefully Red Planet will respond about whats happening with them.

I doubt that they aren't bringing them in seeing Jazwares did direct me to their website.

I don't get it. Don't they make that Sonic crap you can find at the TRU? Why the hell not release their A-Team stuff here?

Exactly. it seems that a number of Jazwares stuff are all handled by Red Planet and TRU's have tons of the stuff but no sign of A-Team. Weird but... oh well.

I went and saw the Fansproject Bruticus on display (not for sale yet) at Soul of Anime in Richmond center. Man, it is a sight to behold. I couldn't stop gawking.

My girlfriend made a face at the price tag though, but whatever, I've bought 2 TFs in the past couple months, I think I deserve a treat after waiting so long. :lol:

I won't even get mine until a month after release date anyway because of shipping. Maybe I should order from Soul of Anime....

Oh yeah! They also had a Power Core Combiners Combaticons set on display as well. And you know, it does actually look a little less ugly in person. Maybe I'll consider collecting them after all.

Went to my local Wal-Mart (Fairway rd. Kitchener) today and saw PCC and HftD scouts. No sign of the deluxes or generations but at least that's a start. I also snagged a Mindwipe for $20 :grin:

I noticed there are less and less Rotf things on the shelves at TRU and Wal-Mart so hopefully the good stuff will show soon.

Power Core Combiners 2-packs and HFTD Scouts & Legends are now out in BC, at Grandview, Surrey & Lougheed Walmarts. I unfortunately grabbed the last Legends Ravage at Lougheed, but there were at least a few of everything else. After looking at all the PCCs I decided I'm probably going to skip the line. They just weren't all that interesting, the only one I lingered on was Searchlight.
