I'm really tempted to pick up Searchlight...of the 3 he's the best-looking IMO, but I wasn't intending on getting into this line. It's just been so long since I bougtht a new TF, I need a fix.

FYI, for anyone still needing them for the fans project set, Zellers at surrey place has 3 combat icon sets in their clearance section. Tag says 47, but they scan for 34.

Re: Canada Transformers sightings
TFcon was awesome!
I picked up Alternators Rumble and Jaguar Ravage, BWII Lio Convoy, and BW Neo Heinlad. Very happy with the haul, that knocked off about half of my "must have/hard to get" list.
David Kaye was a delight! His panel was funny and informative, and I got him to sign my copies of TFA season 1 and Beast Wars season 1.
Also, there were quite a few cool costumes there, notable among them a couple of good Sari's, a cool Jazz/box costume, and a near-perfect TFA Blackarachnia.
The only disappointing thing was the Hasbro panel didn't have any cool new product that we've never seen before (I think, I missed the first 10 minutes because I was still in the David Kaye line), but the Q+A was still cool.

Hey, guys. The TRU has a sale on Transformers, 25% off all non-liquidation stuff. Zellers has a sale, too, but theirs is 40% off. Roll out!
Also, on the South Shore of Montreal, I found the Soundwave RPM wave at the Brossard Zellers and the Brossard TRU, they have the Huffer wave of Powercore Combiners, 3 movie Activators, and some Hunt for Decepticon Scouts and Legends.

Yeah, same here, mate. If they made a G1 series, I'd probably buy them all.

Same, but I see options for future pieces in animated, G2, and even RID. Heck a line of GIJoe vehicles in RPM style would be nifty to see.

I hear ya. I'd buy the hell out of a Hot Wheels scale die-cast Joe line. Especially since I never managed to get any of the '80s micro-vehicles and the only '80s diecast one I have is the MOBAT I used in this comic: http://ages25andup.blogspot.com/2010/01 ... ssons.html I hope to own a VAMP one day, being a total VAMP/Clutch whore.

That MOBAT is pretty sweet. A Joe RPM line could be win if they stick to a few choice pieces. A Snowcat would be awesome.

The HISS would be great just for the repaint value. A HATE would kick ass.

Does anyone know if Generations Wave 1 has hit the Lower Mainland yet? They haven't shown up @ Lougheed Wal-Mart, and I haven't checked out either Toys R Us in a long time.

I haven't seen anything new in southern Quebec. Good news, though. The Brossard TRU has Deluxes and FABs on liquidation for $10 each. Not sure if this is a chain-wide thing, but damn, I hope it moves some stock. We haven't even seen the Lockdown/Ratchet/Brawn wave yet.

Still no Generations. But we're getting HFTD in the form of Legends and that huge Bumblebee. So hopefully we should get the rest of it sometime soon.
BTW, 6 Arcees were spotted at Bowmac yesterday, there might still be some there, they seem to be disappearing a bit slower these days.

kinda new to the site and was just looking for some information on stores in the Toronto and GTA (all the way to Mississauga if i have to) areas that stock G1 reissues like the Commemorative series or the Encore series. Dying to get some more for my collection. If there's a post about this that i may have missed a link to it would be wonderful

Any Lower Mainland fans still looking for Arcee should check Lougheed TRU, I heard there were 6 each of her and Ratchet today.

I was there about 8:30 and all the Arcee's were already gone. Ratchet was still there.

Got the Takara version from A3U at Lougheed a few weeks back, so I'm fine, but if that is any indication then scalpers are still likely running away with her.
Speaking of scalper bait, has anyone seen the Hot Wheels Ecto-1? I know it's been out as it's on eBay and a buddy did find one locally but I have yet to see one in store.

I've never EVER seen one with my own eyes. That and the silver DeLorean. But now the Gold DeLorean is out, meaning that the Ecto and the silver DeLo are long gone. FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU
