Look at his gun, it has a fin and a lightning bolt on it! that's pretty retro sci-fi.
This looks like a Cosmos who's done with fighting Decepticons, instead, devoting all of his time to beating up aliens, bad guy aliens whose names start with Z.

I'm not real impressed. I'll get it bc it's $15 and a decent upgrade from the Hasbro figure but I hope MakeToy's version looks better.

Yeah the space helmet works in UFO mode but only because they made the neck hole so large obviously to fit the helmet. I would have rather had a smaller neck hole with no helmet. Its kind of like Hasbro Seaspray with his diving mask and flippers, pointless.

Even if it is comic accurate, the concept of the space helmet is too "human" for me. Lets just give Seaspray scuba tanks, Perceptor glasses, Sunstreaker a vanity mirror, Blot a diaper, and Grimlock a dunce cap while were at it.

I like this figure and i liked Huffer and Seaspray and i have pre-ordered them when they were first announced, but i would have to agree that it's a wasted opportunity that they are not deluxe size.

There's one thing i'd like to know about the figs we have seen so far, do they have storage for their guns in altmode?

Yeah I cringe everytime I see that episode. So with the overwhelming support for the Buzz Lightyear helmet, why stop with Cosmos ??? Maybe you guys can comission Junkion Blacksmith to make new head molds with the following:

Fire Chief hat for Inferno

Hardhat for Grapple

Police hat for Prowl

Aviator hat for Powerglide (oops they already did that in movie-verse)

Crocidile Dundee Hat for Outback

DJ Headphones for Blaster

Now you have the complete Transformers/Bob the Builder crossover line !

i like it. not quite as nice as Rager, but then very few designs I've seen for very few things are.

UK folks: anyone been ordering any of these guys? Direct from iGear the best way to go? I usually go to Kapow for my TFs but they appear to have an iGear deficit.

*Thumps chest* A direct hit! :p Yeah, but even for me there are limits. I don't collect Legends either, with the exception of movie Scorponok. Yes, Trailbreaker has something, but it's not a proper representation for me.

iGear have posted the first prototype images of their upcoming Mini Warrior MW-04 UFO. The Cosmos tribute figure comes with a blaster and sports space helmet similar to the one seen in recent IDW comics.
