The new wave 2 minicons are sweet! I like them much better than the first wave. Some great new transformation ideas, and cool modes for almost all of them in both modes... I think the clear skies team may be the best set yet, but the dirt diggers, and predator team are really cool too.
I like my revoltech Prime and Magnus, but I could NOT pull out the fist to put in the gun hand. I was using all the force I could without thinking that I would break them... other wise nice figures, although the blue on Prime is a bit purple looking and they have really thick necks.
For those of you not sure whether you should get Roadbots or not, I say at least try one. I got my Lamborghini yesterday, and let me tell you I had misgivings before buying them that they would be weak, chinsy (SP), and bad. However when I opened it up and transformed it, it was so solid feeling, truly unlike alternators, I felt like I could manipulate it and things would not just pop off. And of course the Lamborghini alt, even in green, looks magnificent, has light and sound effects, and is super solid. I may invest in more Roadbots, we'll see, but the 1:18 scale Lamborghini is well worth it, in my opinion.
The LOC wave 2 are very cool! Whirl is awesome, but they all are. Jetfire is great... Menasor and Bumblebee are a bit ho hum, but nice repaints.
And I surprisingly, got my Commemorative Soundwaves (now that was FAST shipping--two days!!!) too. He looks sweet, but I am not sure if I am going to open mine or not. I have Takaras reissue, the Soundblaster re-issue, and the original Soundwave. Maybe I can convince Laura to open hers so I can mess with that one...
